Greetings, Disciples!
Now that we have returned safely to our homes from the 19th Biennial Retreat of the General Assembly, we pause to thank God for all that was experienced throughout these powerful and unforgettable days together. What began as a gathering in Goldsboro became a time of spiritual renewal, growth, fellowship, worship, learning, and encouragement for the entire body of believers.
From the inspiring workshops and meaningful discussions to the powerful worship services and heartfelt fellowship, God truly met us in a special way. We witnessed unity, love, wisdom, and a renewed passion for ministry as we gathered under the theme, “The Body of Christ…In A Changing World.”
Our prayer now is that what we heard, learned, and received during this Retreat will not remain only as a moment, but that it will continue to live within us and shape our ministries, churches, leadership, families, and daily walk with Christ. May the lessons, empowerment, and spiritual insight gained during these days strengthen us for the work ahead.
As we move forward, may we continue to stay connected in fellowship, committed to the work of the Kingdom, and focused on the mission God has placed before us. We also encourage everyone to please look out for our upcoming Retreat survey posts over the next few days. Your feedback, reflections, and suggestions are valuable and will help us continue to grow and improve future gatherings of the General Assembly.
