GOD makes it Known to us, in Context, His requirements for staying in His will, and obtaining His promises. Often times when we don't see/hear what WE want or even expect, we'll dismiss it as NOT being God✋🏼 I'm reminded of Naaman in 2Kings Chapter 5 (take some time to read it). The Living, Breathing Word of Our God tells us that our subject was Mighty in valour (GIFTED), BUT he was a l***r (TAINTED, BROKEN, STRICKEN, WOUNDED....whatever you choose to apply)! AT THE APPOINTED TIME, when he was Given the opportunity to Obtain /Receive HEALING, he Dismissed it!! Specifically the Bible says he: "went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He (the Prophet) will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the l***r. Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage."
WON'T WE DO IT⁉️
We'll be Broken, Torn, Bleeding, Hurt... And Will TELL GOD- THE One WHO CREATED US, HE WHO MADE US, AUTHOR and FINISHER of ALL- What WE Want & How WE Want to Be Healed. THEN Turn AWAY from the VERY Person/Thing HE'S Using to Heal Us!!!
BUT I'M SO GLAD THAT WE SERVE A GOD😭😭😭 Yah Lord!!! HE Will Look Right Past Our "knowing NOT what we do" AND KEEP Making Ways To Heal What's Broken😭😭😭
*Can I Encourage You Today? The story ends with Naaman being healed. Healed because he had "Servants" around him that Encouraged him to follow the Instructions the Prophet gave him☝🏻 We live in a culture that will not support and/or be loyal/committed to ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY if it's Not the Majority rule. I Encourage You to Commune With A PERSON/PEOPLE that will hold you to what GOD says about you and NOT what you or they THINK/SEE! Those who will Help You THROUGH IT, NOT Help You LIVE, PARTY, & GET COMFORTABLE IN IT!!! Namaan's Servants Knew he was Mighty BUT they ALSO KNEW he was Broken/Leper. Smiling & Winning in Public, Depressed & Moaning at Home! They wanted his COMPLETE HEALING MORE THAN HE DID! THEY COULD SEE THE VISION OF HIM BEING WHOLE ENOUGH NOT to ALLOW him to MISS his opportunity. That should be the FRUIT of Our Circles, Our Tribes, Our Covenant Relationships.
