Bethel Youth Bethel Youth is for students in Middle - High School age at Bethel Church in Goldsboro, NC. Service Times :: Wednesdays @ 7p CORE VALUES:


CONNECTED. ALL. TRUTH.

We believe that our youth ministry is a part of the vision of Bethel Church and we refuse to become detached from the larger vision of our Lead Pastor. The Gospel was meant for everyone. This means that we will not focus on a particular demographic, but intentionally take the Gospel to ALL students. FORWARD THINKING. We will not ignore the present and past conditions of our students but refuse to

focus on them. Instead, we will look to the future for what students can and will become and we will choose to lead them into the plan God has for their life. CULTURE. We will actively reject all cultural norms that do not line up with Scripture. However, those cultural norms that are neutral or positive will be harnessed and used to compel students to Christ. The Gospel is not The Gospel unless it is presented in its entirety. We will actively preach and teach to our students the ENTIRE gospel in a loving fashion. THE WINDOW. We realize that students are in a prime window for salvation. 77 % of people receive Christ before the age of 21. This motivates us to constantly consider change and whatever it takes to win these students before they graduate into adulthood. WORK. Faith without works is dead. This does not exclude students. Students are capable of more than just sleeping late, being social, and watching television. In fact, students are quite energetic and will find purpose and destiny in “doing” things for the cause of Christ. TRAIN. In preparation for their future and the future of The Church, students will be given important and meaningful roles in ministry. These students will be developed and they will serve with excellence. YOUR PREFERENCE. Quite frankly, your personal preference is irrelevant to us. We will not seek to please people but rather please God. We will use every means necessary to reach this generation and we will only seek to cater to what God wants and to what he provides for us to use.
