🚨 NO REGULAR SERVICES TOMORROW! 🚨

​Tomorrow is annual FOR GOLDSBORO SERVE DAY and we’re loving on Goldsboro from 9 AM – 12 PM! Afterwards, we will be enjoying lunch together ❤️. (And yes, it’s 100% kid-friendly! 🌸🚂)

​VOLUNTEERS: Assignments were sent via email & text. If you didn't get yours, email Ariana Reyes at [email protected].

​NEW VISITORS: We can't wait to meet you next week! Regular services resume Sunday, Sept 6th at 9:30 & 11:00 AM at the Goldsboro YMCA.

DON’T GO TO CHURCH… be the church! 🛠️❤️

​Instead of gathering at the Y this Sunday for our normal services, we’re taking the day off to go out and love our city together for our annual FOR GOLDSBORO - Serve Day!

​We’ll be serving across Goldsboro from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at various locations! Sooooo... don’t show up at the Y expecting a service. We will put you to work instead 😉. (Kids included!!!)

​After we serve, stick around from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Herman Park for lunch on us!

​Volunteers: Keep an eye out for further details and assignment updates from our staff team coming your way soon!

Brothers Eagle and River had a fun time shadowing one of the coolest teams at Canvas on Sunday - the Emergency Response Team (ERT)! 🚨

​ERT includes trained emergency and medical pros who want to keep our church family safe every Sunday.

​While ERT keeps us safe, so many other incredible teams serve faithfully behind the scenes every single week! From setting up and tearing down, to putting out signage, to praying over our church family - we couldn’t do Sunday morning without you.

Ever feel like you’re carrying a weight that’s too heavy, or stuck inside your own head?

In yesterday's message, "Left on Read" (Acts 12; Galatians 6:1–2), we were reminded that prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can offer one another. It doesn't require perfect faith to be powerful, and it reaches the places and people we simply can't. When we pray together and for each other, we step out of our isolation and into God's presence. Whatever you’re facing this week, don't carry it alone - pray expectantly, knowing God is listening and working behind the scenes. 🙏✨

Sunday was full of praise as three of our young ones - Josiah, Sophia, and Ruby - walked into the waters of baptism! 🥳💦

​It’s a powerful reminder of how much impact a loving community has on the next generation. From aunts, uncles, and grandparents to faithful mentors, thank you for guiding our youth!

​We also want to give a huge thank you to Addison and our incredible Kids Church volunteer team. The energy, love, and care you pour into weekly intentional time with these kids is such a blessing.

​Parenting is high-calling work, but you don't walk it alone. Parents are the ultimate spiritual leaders of the home, and our Kids Church team is honored to walk alongside you, supporting and complementing the Biblical truth you teach every day. Be encouraged, parents! You are stewarding these lives well - keep pressing in and keeping your eyes on Jesus. ❤️
