💛✨ A Simple Reminder ✨💛

You do not have to have everything figured out today.

Not every question needs an answer right now.
Not every problem has to be solved immediately.
Not every goal has to be accomplished this week.

Sometimes the most important thing you can do is take the next step, trust God with the rest, and keep moving forward.

Life is rarely built in dramatic, life-changing moments. More often, it's built in ordinary days — showing up, doing your best, loving people well, and remaining faithful in the small things.

And if we're being honest... most of us are just trying to make it through the week with our coffee still warm and our to-do list mostly under control. 😅

📖 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:34

So take a breath.

You've made it this far.
God is still faithful.
And today is enough. 💛

💛👯 National Best Friends Day 👯💛

Today is National Best Friends Day — a day to celebrate the people who make life a little brighter, a little easier, and a whole lot more interesting.

Best friends are the people who:
• Know your stories before you tell them
• Answer the phone with, “What happened?” instead of “Hello?” 😅
• Encourage you when you need it
• Laugh with you, pray for you, and occasionally talk you out of questionable decisions

And let’s be honest… a true best friend is someone who will tell you when you have something in your teeth, answer your text at a ridiculous hour, and still claim they're “always a good influence.” 😅

Friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts. We weren’t meant to go through life alone, and the people who walk alongside us through the good days and the hard days are worth celebrating.

📖 “A friend loves at all times…” — Proverbs 17:17

So today, send a text, make a call, share a memory, or simply let your friends know how much they mean to you. 💛

🏕️🦌 Daniel Boone Day 🦌🏕️

Today is Daniel Boone Day — a day to remember one of America’s most famous frontiersmen, explorers, and adventurers.

Daniel Boone became known for helping blaze trails through the wilderness and exploring lands that, at the time, were largely unknown to settlers. His story has become part history, part legend, and part “there’s no way I’m doing that without GPS.” 😅

Let’s be honest...

Daniel Boone:
• Navigated through the wilderness with a compass and experience
• Faced dangers most of us only see in documentaries
• Built a life on the frontier

Meanwhile, most of us get mildly concerned when our phone loses signal for three minutes. 📱😅

His story reminds us of the courage it takes to step into the unknown, face challenges, and keep moving forward even when the path isn't easy.

📖 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid…” — Joshua 1:9

Today, we remember the pioneers, explorers, and trailblazers who came before us—and we're grateful that our journeys usually involve fewer bears and significantly more air conditioning. 😉

🌅⏰💛 Sunday Is Coming 💛⏰🌅

It’s Saturday night… and somewhere, people are confidently saying things like, “We’ll leave early tomorrow,” as if Sunday mornings haven’t humbled us before. 😅

Alarms are being set.
Church clothes are being located.
And someone is currently trying to remember where they put the Bible they specifically set somewhere safe.

But no matter how the morning goes — calm, chaotic, or somewhere in between — Sunday is always worth showing up for.

It’s a chance to pause, reset, and gather together with people who encourage us, pray for us, and remind us what truly matters.

After a long week, there’s something good about stepping into a place where grace, hope, and community meet.

📖 “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’” — Psalm 122:1

So take a breath, set the alarm, and we’ll see you in the morning. 💛

🇺🇸🌊 D-Day 🌊🇺🇸

Today we remember D-Day — June 6, 1944 — one of the most significant and courageous moments in history.

On this day, thousands of Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy during World War II, facing overwhelming danger in the fight against tyranny and oppression. Many gave their lives so that future generations could live in freedom.

D-Day was marked by courage, sacrifice, unity, and determination in the face of incredible uncertainty. The bravery shown on those beaches changed the course of history and continues to be remembered generations later.

As we reflect today, we honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who never made it home. Their courage and commitment should never be forgotten.

📖 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

Today, we remember the heroes of D-Day with gratitude and respect. 🇺🇸

🌎🌿 World Environment Day 🌿🌎

Today is World Environment Day — a reminder to appreciate and take care of the world we’ve been given.

From mountains and oceans to forests, fields, and backyard gardens, creation is full of beauty, detail, and life. Sometimes we move so quickly through our routines that we forget to stop and notice it.

And if we’re being honest… this is also the time of year where everyone suddenly becomes very aware of the heat, the pollen, the bugs, and the fact that grass apparently grows at the speed of light. 😅

But even with all of that, the world around us is a gift worth caring for. Small actions — being mindful, reducing waste, planting something, or simply appreciating nature a little more — can make a difference over time.

📖 “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” — Psalm 24:1

So today, take a moment to step outside, appreciate the beauty around you, and remember that good stewardship starts with small choices. 🌿💛

🧀😅 National Cheese Day 😅🧀

Today is National Cheese Day… and honestly, this is one of the strongest holidays we’ve had in a while.

Because cheese is everywhere.
Pizza? Cheese.
Mac & cheese? Cheese.
Nachos? Cheese.
That mysterious shredded bag in the fridge at 11:00 p.m.? Also cheese.

At this point, cheese is less of a food and more of an emotional support system. 😅

And let’s be honest… cheese people are passionate.
There are people out there who can identify cheese types by smell alone.
People who own “special cheese knives.”
People who look at a charcuterie board like it’s fine art.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are just aggressively sprinkling shredded cheese onto things and hoping for the best.

And somehow… it works.

But honestly, meals and moments like these remind us how much joy can be found in simple things — laughter, food, and gathering together with people we care about.

📖 “Taste and see that the Lord is good…” — Psalm 34:8

So today, enjoy the cheese.
All of it.
No regrets. 🧀😉

😄📖✨ Midweek Reset ✨📖😄

It’s Wednesday… and by this point in the week, there’s a good chance at least one of these things has happened:
• You’ve lost track of what day it is
• You’ve reheated the same cup of coffee multiple times
• Or you’ve walked into a room and immediately forgotten why 😅

That means it’s probably the perfect time for a reset.

Tonight is Bible Study at 7:00 p.m. 🙌

Come spend some time in God’s Word, connect with your church family, and take a break from the busyness of the week. No pressure, no perfection — just a place to grow, learn, and be encouraged together.

📖 “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…” — Hebrews 10:24-25

We’d love to see you tonight! 💛
