🕊️With love and gratitude we offer our sincere condolences to the family of Marilyn C. (Kelemen) Fisher during this season of loss.

✝️Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

A prayer service will begin at 12:45 p.m. followed by visitation until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Gent Funeral Home, 2409 State Street in Alton.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 820 W. Homer M. Adams Pkwy. in Godfrey. Father Steve Janoski will officiate. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.

Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter.

🦜 Vacation Bible School 2026 is officially in the books! 🐒

What an incredible week it was! Another great success made possible by the powerful work of the Holy Spirit and the incredible generosity of so many dedicated volunteers. Every year, our young campers bring such joy, energy, and life to our faith community ... it’s truly a blessing to watch them grow in their love for Jesus!

A huge thank you to Kim Wackerly for stepping up and overseeing VBS with such excellence. 🙌

Special shoutout to Monica Ellebracht and her talented team for transforming the Community Center into a beautiful rainforest! The décor was absolutely awesome and set the perfect atmosphere for the week. 🌿🦋

And a big thank you to our Saint Sponsors for providing t-shirts for all our campers and volunteers! Your support always makes a real difference!

🕊️In loving memory of parishioner Virginia Fiedler, 100, affectionately known as “Mom,” “Ginny,” “Grandma,” or “Gigi,” of Godfrey, Illinois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and her beloved dog Bogart, on May 25, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church on June 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon. Burial will be at Wilson Cemetery, Batchtown, Illinois.
