Starting February 1, 2026, we will offer ONE service each Sunday at 10:00 with both traditional and contemporary elements. Godfrey First UMC is a congregation with a long and storied history, dating back to 1825. e combined worship with Communion at 9:30am. The other Sundays, we have two worship services; 8:30am & 10:45am
The 8:30am service it a more "traditional" worship with hymnody, liturgy and choir. Childcare is not currently offered during this worship, but children are welcome and celebrated in worship. If you would desire childcare at the early service, please let us know. The 10:45am service is a blend of hymns and praise and worship music, liturgy, video, projection, choir and praise band. There is a "children's message" shared by the pastor with all the children present, childcare is provided, and "Children's Church" is offered during the worship time for children ages 3 yrs old through 5th grade. We also have a very energetic and vibrant Youth Ministry, called GPS Youth Ministry. Our mission is to Grow in Faith, Participate in the life of the Church, and Share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
