Happy Monday! ☀️ As we start this new week, let’s hold onto this truth: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31

No matter what’s ahead, God is your source of strength. Trust Him, lean on Him, and know He’s walking with you every step of the way. You’ve got this because He’s got you! 🙏🏼

No matter how your week has gone, whether it was full of blessings or full of battles, worship is always the right response to God. When we take time to lift our hearts to Him, we’re reminded of His goodness, His faithfulness, and His love that never fails. Worship isn’t about having it all together; it’s about bringing all we have to the One who deserves it all. 🧡

So as we come together this morning, let’s lay aside distractions and lift up our praise. He is worthy of it all!

📖 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” – Psalm 150:6

He desires to walk with you through every season, every challenge, and every joy. A relationship with God isn’t about religion or checking boxes—it’s about knowing Him personally, experiencing His love, and letting Him guide your life.

If you’ve been feeling distant or unsure, today is the perfect time to take a step closer. He’s waiting with open arms, ready to meet you right where you are.

Let’s grow deeper in our relationship with Him—together! Join us this Sunday at THE ALTAR for worship, encouragement, and a message that will help you draw near to God.

As the weekend winds down, take this truth into your week ahead: “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)

No matter what challenges, uncertainties, or obstacles come your way, you are not just a conqueror—you are more than a conqueror. Through Jesus, you have the strength, courage, and victory to face whatever lies ahead.

This week, walk boldly in His love. Lean on His promises. Trust that He’s already gone before you and is working all things for your good.

You’ve got this because He’s got you. 🧡

Giving isn’t about what we give up. It’s about what we build up. When you give, you’re helping The Altar fulfill God’s mission: growing families, empowering our youth, and spreading hope throughout our community.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

Your generosity reflects God’s love and makes a real difference. Let’s build something eternal, together.

Family. Let’s pray today.

BIBLICAL HOPE

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:18-19, KJV)

The miraculous power that the Creator God has demonstrated for His people’s benefit is evident in the exodus, the conquest of Canaan, the miracles of Jesus and the apostles, all of which should build confidence in the Lord as our Helper. By its very nature, hope concerns the future. Hope is wishful thinking about something good happening in the future. Biblical hope is linked inseparably with a firm faith and confident trust in God. The sure hope of the Believer is a hope that “maketh not ashamed” — it is an anchor for the Believer in the midst of life.

Gracious Heavenly Father, Hallowed be Thy Name! Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven...

Father God, I lift up the friends and families of those 67 souls which were lost in yesterday’s plane collision with the helicopter. This was a terrible tragedy and I pray that those who are left behind will find comfort and hope in You. May they have hope based on God’s love and God’s grace in the midst of their sufferings. May they have hope that the time will come when our sufferings on earth will be finally done away with. May they put their trust and hope in You because those without God are without real hope. Comfort them in their sorrow and may they turn to You for salvation if they are not sure where they stand spiritually for with Jesus Christ they have the real hope of His appearing. May they come to Jesus for in Him, we have the hope of when the subjection of the earth to corruption will end, and when the redemption (resurrection) of our bodies will occur. We have the hope of the consummation of our salvation. We have the hope of an eternal house in the new heaven in that city whose builder and maker is God. We have the blessed hope of the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, when Believers will be caught-up from earth to meet Him in the clouds. And when we shall see Him as He is and become like Him! We have the hope of receiving a crown — of righteousness, of glory, and of life. Finally, we have the hope of eternal life — the life guaranteed to all who trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ! So, Father, speak to their broken hearts today and comfort them with these words of hope. Thank You, Father! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
