A MESSAGE FROM KATHLEEN ADAMS

Join us this Sunday for a special musical event!
Youth of the Village!
Youth of the Village Church!
Youth of Cape Ann! AND...young at heart, as well!
ALL who are a heartbeat from the sea...

CREATE A NEW TRADITION!

Come and get a song in your on Sunday, May 15 at 10 AM, when Kristina Martin (choral director for the Village Players) and her youthful emissaries from our sister church (First Church Congregational in Rockport) bring us a song to learn during our service at the Annisquam Village Church.

What song? A song by the sea-faring DAISY NELL called "Heartbeat from the Sea." What's it about? It's about our land and sea, our woodlands and our waters....over the centuries (even before the 400 years when so many of our people settled here!

Why learn it? So we can bring these thoughts and appreciations to EVERYONE with EVERYONE. We can bring them to our churches, to our get-togethers, small and large and everywhere, and even...yes...to the SCHOONER FESTIVAL, where Daisy Nell will accompany us with her original song. We can start FLASH MOBS when enough people know this great little song. You will learn it in a 'heartbeat.'...and then you can teach it to your friends, your family, your grandparents, your dog!

Each one can teach one!

Here's a peek! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e4WEHijvZ5DVjK6w0ufeQ0jlG1_ZzcQR/view

(Song starts at 2:20)

If you want to prepare a little more, come to the Village Church at noon on Saturday. I'll be there to get you going. Or just come to the service at 10 on Sunday and we'll all learn it together.

I don't want you to miss the chance to sing it when Daisy accompanies us at the Schooner Festival. Perhaps we'll sing it on the Schooner Adventure!

SING YOUR HEART OUT! IT'S GOOD FOR YOU.
