The last quarter of the calendar year with the Advent and Christmas Season is a joyfully busy time for us. It recharges us both physically and spiritually.
Our council has been busy this quarter and we wanted to share some of the highlights:
- We held our 10th annual golf tournament raising over $4,300
for our charitable work and $500 for Catholic Charities North
Shore.
- In November we held a BBQ for those in our community in
need.
- We were excited to support The Holy Family Women's Guild
and their Christmas fair, preparing both breakfast and
spinning the gift wheel.
- The following week we did the same for Our Lady's Guild and
their Christmas Fair.
- We ran the Knights of Columbus
poster contest.
- We delivered, with our local St Vincent de Paul society, over 50
coats as we support .
- We sponsored a number of great causes too, including
* Sawyer Free Library's renovation,
* The Holy Family Cevicos Mission,
* in Wenham,
* Cape Ann Veterans Services Gold Star Prayer Service,
* Our members continue to live out their faith and support our community and parish as family men and fathers, as lector/Eucharistic ministers and members of our parish councils, as husbands and as men working in their careers to make the world a better place.
We're looking for Catholic men just like you in our Cape Ann community to help us do this important work. Join us!
