We were so proud to support the Catholic Community of Gloucester & Rockport's and the Holy Family Women’s Guild as they hosted the Annual Holy Family Christmas Fair. Whether is was setting up or taking down, cooking food, spinning the wheel, counting the proceeds or helping kids keep Christ in Christmas, we stand to serve or parish community.

Its season and this year teamed up with Pathways in Gloucester to support their kids. Thank you to Kathy for allowing us to serve you and your community!

"The jackets are beautiful and the quality is wonderful, so no worries at all! We are in the process of distributing them to the children with the most need right now and I want to thank you so much for providing such a good size range, as it's been super helpful. Our family advocates (social workers) are in the distribution process.

Again, I cannot express our gratitude for providing this outerwear to the kids - such a godsend this time of the year!"

We were so grateful to help the Archbishop and the Catholic Community of Gloucester and Rockport begin the Eucharistic Procession "Into the Deep" that the Archdiocese of Boston celebrated. A wonderful video re-cap: https://vimeo.com/1090047811

Today, on the feast of Pentecost, we take inspiration from the dove of the Holy Spirit as depicted on the underside of the canopy of the Baldacchino of St. Peter's Basilica. The restoration of the baldacchino, supported by the Knights of Columbus, honors a timeless link to Christianity’s roots and preserves a spiritual landmark for future generations.

We were so pleased to be able to help the The Open Door by working with the Rockport Scouts to collect approximately 950lbs of food. Thank you to Shaws and Stop & Shop for your support of the Cape Ann community.

This past weekend we were blessed to bring in a new member through an exemplification held at St Ann's Church after the 4 pm Mass. Frank Bellini prepared a beautiful meal for the community as we both celebrated our new member, the Mass we just experienced and the fellowship available in the Catholic Community of Gloucester and Rockport. And if that weren't enough, we had the icon of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at St Joachim Church as well!

The last quarter of the calendar year with the Advent and Christmas Season is a joyfully busy time for us. It recharges us both physically and spiritually.

Our council has been busy this quarter and we wanted to share some of the highlights:

- We held our 10th annual golf tournament raising over $4,300
for our charitable work and $500 for Catholic Charities North
Shore.
- In November we held a BBQ for those in our community in
need.
- We were excited to support The Holy Family Women's Guild
and their Christmas fair, preparing both breakfast and
spinning the gift wheel.
- The following week we did the same for Our Lady's Guild and
their Christmas Fair.
- We ran the Knights of Columbus
poster contest.
- We delivered, with our local St Vincent de Paul society, over 50
coats as we support .
- We sponsored a number of great causes too, including
* Sawyer Free Library's renovation,
* The Holy Family Cevicos Mission,
* in Wenham,
* Cape Ann Veterans Services Gold Star Prayer Service,

* Our members continue to live out their faith and support our community and parish as family men and fathers, as lector/Eucharistic ministers and members of our parish councils, as husbands and as men working in their careers to make the world a better place.

We're looking for Catholic men just like you in our Cape Ann community to help us do this important work. Join us!

As November approaches it is so important to take the time to care for others. We ran a free BBQ for clients of our local St Vincent de Paul clothes closet. It was open to all and free. Our prayers are with our community in need.
