What a beautiful Rosh Hashanah we experienced together. Our hearts are full of gratitude for our family, our community, and for each of you who are part of it.

As we step into the New Year, may it bring a year of overflowing health and happiness. May it be a year of good news, answered prayers, and peace for Jews worldwide. A year filled with only revealed blessings and sweetness!

Such a beautiful evening at our Eishet Chayil class.

This month we learned about Chana and her powerful connection to Rosh Hashanah, the woman who taught us how to pray, and how even our most personal requests can become part of our connection to G-d.

Such meaningful discussion, and so much to take with us into the New Year.

Next class- Tuesday, October 18, continuing through the verses of Eishet Chayil and meet more extraordinary Jewish women of the past.

If there’s one sound that defines Rosh Hashanah, it’s the Shofar.

Its powerful cry stirs the soul, calls us to reflect, and reminds us that on Rosh Hashanah we crown G-d as King and begin a new year with renewed purpose.

This year, because the first day of Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat, the Shofar is sounded only on Sunday.

No long synagogue service needed. Come for 20 meaningful minutes outdoors at Shofar on the Boulevard — hear the Shofar, enjoy apples & honey, and take part in Tashlich by the water.

What a blast at The Shofar Factory!

The kids got right into it with hard hats, aprons, sanding, polishing, and learning how a ram’s horn becomes the shofar we hear on Rosh Hashanah.

It was so fun watching everyone make their own shofar to take home, try blowing it, drill a little more, and try again until it made just the right sound.

Everyone enjoyed Rosh Hashanah-themed treats and crafts, and it was a great way to get into the High Holiday spirit together. Such a fun afternoon!

This Sunday!!

Get into the High Holiday spirit at The Shofar Factory! Whether you celebrate Rosh Hashanah or simply love giving your kids a chance to explore different cultures and traditions, this is a hands-on experience for the whole family.

With hard hats and aprons on, children will take part in a live demonstration and see how a ram’s horn is cut, drilled, and turned into the shofar sounded on Rosh Hashanah.

Each child will sand and polish their own working shofar to take home, plus enjoy a Rosh Hashanah crafts and holiday-themed snacks.
