Dear NJ State School Board Members:
Please Vote NO and reject Chapter 7, the Proposal for N.J.A.C. 6A:7, Managing for Equality and Equity in Education.
I am writing to you today to thank you for your time and service, but to also as you to ponder why you took this time-consuming position in the first place. Was it not to protect the children and strive to help ALL the children learn and reach their highest potential?
If you vote yes on the pending revisions to N.J.A.C. 6A:7, Managing for Equality and Equity in Education you will be:
1) Erasing scientific facts
2) Thwarting Parental Rights
3) Diluting equality as we all know it.
4) Threatening Local Control (and decision making)
5) AND Stripping our rights found in the U.S. Constitution
Stripping EQUALITY from the entire chapter and replacing it with “EQUITY” is not an amendment, but a FULL REPLACEMENT!
Each replacement in the Chapter 7 Proposed Changes rejects the principle that every child has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You cannot protect the rights of certain groups by stripping the rights of others.
You cannot change an entire chapter, stripping the word “Equality” and replace it with “Equity”. This is an effort to completely transform everything our nation is founded on.
The New Jersey Department of Education does not have the legal authority to assume legislative authority by making such drastic changes to N.J.A.C. 6A:7, Managing for Equality and Equity in Education!
The overreach is clear and if passed, the ramifications will be overwhelming! This entire Chapter should be rejected by every member of the State School Board.
Please Vote NO! Reject Chapter 7.
