The Truth Team

The Truth Team is a summer ministry for a select group of children and young people who are serious about learning leadership, learning to minister to others and put what they learn into practical use.

After unexpected delays, we have finally been able to start Truth Team this summer. Because we don't have much time to get things ready, this year we are going to stick with easier material and material we are already pretty familiar with. It's not to late to join the team, so spread the word and let others know. For all important information (like practice times) please contact us.

We haven't been able to have Truth Team in a long time. This summer we are hoping and praying to change that. We are currently looking for teammates for this program. What we are able to do will depend on the age and ability of the kids participating. This year we have interest from younger kids so we are stretching down to those entering kindergarten and up. We are also trying to figure out the best time to practice every week. If you are interested in join us, or know anyone who is, please contact us ASAP. Thanks!!!

While we haven't been able to have Truth Team for a while (and we hope to be back again next summer) our children and youth ministry, BibleLand, will start again soon. All Children and Youth are invited to join us! Be sure to invite others to join us!

Summer 2023 is coming and so is the start of Truth Team. We are still in the goal-setting and planning stage for this summer, but we'll post updates as things start coming together. If you know anyone who might be interested in joining us, please have them contact us!

While Truth Team has ended for this year our children's ministries have not. BibleLand, our midweek children and youth ministry that runs through the school year will be beginning this coming Wednesday, Sept 14, 2022. BibleLand will go from 5:30 until 7:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to join us and bring friends!

For the first time since 2019 Truth Team was able to meet! The team is very young this year but is already jumping right to work, putting things together, and exceeding all expectations! It is going to be an exciting year as we learn and grow together. It's not too late to join us.

Spread the word! We will begin Truth Team in a couple of weeks. For kids in the Glidden area we will meet at the church on Mondays. For kids in the Carroll area, we will meet at the library on Fridays. For more information please message us and we'll get back to you as fast as we can.

Exciting News!! We have just received confirmation that we will be able to use the large meeting room at the Carroll Public Library to practice with the crew from Carroll on Friday mornings from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. We are looking at having the Glidden gang will meet on Mondays at 9:00 AM. We will be working on the same material and as we get close to the end of the summer we will be bringing the two groups together. Watch for more details to come!

We are looking into something really different this summer. We are trying to find a meeting place in Carroll to meet with the Carroll kids (maybe on Friday mornings??) and then meet with the Glidden kids on a different morning (maybe Monday mornings???). We will then bring them all together near the end of the summer to form one dynamic group. This will save parents both time and gas money. Keep watching for more details as they develop!
