Can the Saints
Command Yahweh?
Shabbat Shalom, y’all. The rapidly approaching end of this age is witnessing a tremendous increase in the activity of the powers of darkness. We see great unrest among the nations, more intense than at any previous time in earth's history. The spread of a totally secularized education has done away with the Scriptural standards that formerly exerted a restraining influence among the so-called Christian people. Our wealth and social culture have not made us thankful to the Creator and Giver of all good, but have centered us on material things of the world, and have produced a self-sufficiency that ignores our dependence upon the Creator of all. Godlessness is now predominate in our land.
These conditions have so definitely affected the ministry of Yahshua's Assemblies. To Satan’s delight, the Saints have almost stopped giving out the Kingdom Gospel to the world. It seems that the Saints are no longer concerned about the lost souls who wander in darkness; their thoughts are more occupied with meeting their own physical needs. Christ Yahshua, in their view, is only an example which in their own feeble strength they seek to follow. To remedy and cure that situation, the Assembly of Yahshua needs a more biblical concept of prayer. Yahweh's call is for the Saints who are fully yielded to Him, whose eyes have been enlightened to see the ministry to which they have been called. Those believers, then, as intercessors will join with Yahshua, the Head of the Body, and exercise the spiritual authority to which all evil spirits must submit wherever they are challenged. Our Authority as Intercessors
Isa 45:11 "Thus says Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: ‘Ask Me about the things that are to come, concerning My children. Yea, concerning the work of My hands, YOU COMMAND ME."
Those high-lighted words of Yahweh seem impossible or out of place to our natural mind, that we are able to "command" Him concerning the work of His hands. It is interesting that the translators of various Bible versions of this passage have toned down what they regard as excessiveness of Yahweh's offer. Why? Because we are slow to believe that the Almighty really means exactly what He says.
We tend to think it is just too incredible that He desires to share with humans the use and access of His infinite power. However, in reality that is a faithless and carnal viewpoint. It is the result of not having the spiritual understanding to comprehend Yahweh's purpose to bring His redeemed children into living and into practical co-operation with His Son for the administration of His Kingdom.
Yahweh reveals the purpose for His Assembly in
Eph 1:22-23 "and ‘He put all things under His feet’ and gave Him to be Head over all things to the Congregation, which is His Body, the completion of Him who fills everything in every way."
A wife is to complete and to complement her husband. Here, the Body of Yahshua, the Assembly, is to do the same for Yahshua. The Saints bear a most vital relationship to Him as the members making up His Body, through whom His plans and purposes are to be carried out throughout eternity. So this present age is one of preparation. Yahshua has given revelations and offers of grace in order to test the faith and to develop the spiritual powers of those who will be sharing His authority and ministry in the Kingdom age. “Command Me concerning the work of My hands!” We should not faithlessly refuse to accept the greatest and highest implication of this scripture, in spite of unbelief among some Christians.
This same principle is stated in other places of the Yahweh's Word using different wording, but with equal clarity. Our duty is to draw near with the boldness of faith and in the attitude and readiness of full obedience. Faith is the key to unlock every scriptural truth, no matter how mysterious or unattainable it may seem. Obedience will bring us through the door that Yahweh has opened for us. Then, as we live in the Father’s great house, we shall share its relationships and responsibilities.
2Tim 2:20 "Now in a great house there are not only articles of gold and silver, but also others of wood and of earthenware; and some are for specially honorable, and others for common use."
The congregations of His Body, His great house, are to operate in faith and obedience. As we, the Saints speak with His authority, we will see Yahweh’s will, as we speak it, carried out to the fullest.
In Psalm 20 the Father sends divine grace and help from His throne. The Psalmist gives a prophetic petition:
Ps 20:4-5 "May He grant you according to your own heart and fulfill all your plans. … May Yahweh fulfill all your petitions."
Yahweh promises to fulfill the desires and purposes of his Servants. All of the plans of the heart of Yahweh's children are acceptable to Yahweh; they are in full agreement with the divine ideals; then, a second assurance is given: "Yahweh fulfill all your petitions." Let that sink into your brain and heart. That is an astounding promise! It is sadly obvious that the Prosperity Gospel promoters of mainstream Christianity have misappropriated that by saying that a Christian can pray for whatever he wants and it will happen. No, we are to pray for Yahweh's will to happen.
Set that in conjunction with this in
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and He shall give you the desires of your heart."
If you delight yourself in Yahweh by loving and obeying Him, then He will install desires into your heart that are in accordance with His will. As we ponder on these words of Yahweh we do well to remember Yahshua's words in
Matt 18:19 "Again I say to you, that if two of you on earth shall agree concerning any matter that they wish to request, it shall be done for them by My Father, Who is in heaven."
The deep and precious reality of our union with Christ is barely comprehended by most believers. Scripture compares it to the head of a human body with its members and body parts over that the head is to rule, whether unconsciously or consciously. When the person is healthy, the Body parts are responsive to the slightest impulses of the head. But if disease invades any part of the Body, then some members are not carry out their appointed functions, or they may be unable to obey the head at all.
the Body of Christ differs from the human body in that each member possesses an individual will and volition which must be surrendered voluntarily to the will of the spiritual Head of the Body. Sadly, much division exists in the Body as a whole, and much self-will with individual members. Within a local congregation that attitude hinders the healthy functioning and carrying out the purposes of Yahshua Christ. But, when a member of Yahshua's assembly realizes his place, there is not only full co-operation but he or she also is truly identifying with the desires of Yahweh, and Yahshua's promise is fulfilled according to
John 15:7 "If you all abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you all shall ask what you all will, and it shall be done unto you all."
This directly connects with
Ps 37:4 "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and He will grant you the petitions of your heart."
Note carefully the significance of the statement, "You all shall ask what you all will." I’m a Southerner but I’m not changing His words to suit Southerners. In the KJV it says ‘ye’ which is plural. Down south we say you all or y’all which usually refers to a group. But the point is that Yahshua is making a huge promise. If we abide in Him then we can ask what we desire. More on that in a minute. But, how many believers are satisfied to just say, "Thy will be done," in all matters which they bring before Yahweh. Their spirits have adopted a passive attitude that accepts anything that comes along as the will of the Father. This is not scriptural, and it is far from the desire of Yahweh for His children.
The Holy Spirit teaches a close cooperation with Yahweh rather than mere resignation and a “Que Sera Sera – Whatever Will Be, Will Be” attitude. We are to definitely claim and appropriate the promises Yahweh gives us. We are to do so because we are Yahweh's children. We are to positively desire His will; to seek it out as He has already revealed it in the Word; and then hold our place of quiet assurance and faith until it has been fully accomplished for those we pray for.
Take notice in Yahshua's model prayer. He teaches us to pray in
Matt 6:9 "Therefore, you are to pray after this manner: 'Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name;"
He states that we are to address Yahweh as “Our Father in heaven.” He is my Father. I am His child. So, we are to ask for His Kingdom to come and for His will to be done. In order to pray effectively we must learn Yahweh's will.
Ps 143:10 "Teach me to do Your will…"
Rom 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of Yahweh, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to Yahweh, which is your spiritual service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of Yahweh.”
Then Yahshua continues with the model prayer in
Matt 6:10 "Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
We are to pray for His Millennial Kingdom to come. We are to pray for Yahweh's will to be accomplished. Think about this: If Yahweh is going to accomplish His will by Himself then why does Yahshua tell us to pray for it to happen? He would have no need of us. Yahweh expects us to be the instruments He uses to accomplish His will. Yes, He could do it all by Himself, but He chooses for us to participate. So, what is Yahweh's will? Yahweh's will is all the things that He wants done, but He depends on His children to do His will in the power of His Spirit. Here are two examples of His will.
• 2 Peter 3:9 “It is Yahweh’s Will that none should perish, but all to come to repentance.”
• Mic 6:8 "Yahweh requires you to do justice, and to love grace, and to walk humbly with Him."
With that being said, is it Yahweh's will for us to pray like Yahshua prayed in
Matthew 26:39 “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”
That is the only place in Scripture where that idea and those words exist. Yahshua NEVER intended for this idea to be a pattern for us to copy and emulate in our own praying, “Not as I will, but as You will.” He was facing the terrible reality of the cross. Yahshua tells us to pray in full faith and in the attitude and readiness of full obedience. Faith is the key to unlock every scriptural truth, no matter how mysterious and impossible it may seem. Our obedience will bring us through the door that faith opens. Believers in Yahshua all live in the Father’s great house as stated in
2Tim 2:20-21 "But in a great house not only are there vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Then if anyone purifies himself from these, he will be a vessel to honor, having been sanctified and made useful to the Master, having been prepared to every good work."
To believe Yahweh’s promises and walk in faith and in obedience will purify your life. In doing so you purify yourself to be set apart and useful to Yahweh to do the works He has willed and designed for you to do.

Jesus Calling BOOK ISSUES
There are 10 serious problems with the Jesus Calling book, and I hope that you will consider and heed these warnings. I confess that I have read and even posted some of its material myself, although not recently. The author Sarah Young died last year. I am not judging her motives, but she gathered much of her ideas from another book God Calling written by Two Listeners. They used “automatic writing” to pen their words and ideas. In case you do not know, “automatic writing” is a tool of the occult. A person waits with pen and paper in hand for a “spirit” to speak to them and they then record those words. Edgar Cayce (1940s-50s) was a famous proponent of it. Automatic writing is NOT of Yahweh God! We must NOT add to the written Word of Yahweh God! Here are 10 problems with Jesus Calling.
1. She speaks for God. Far and away the most troubling aspect of the book is its very premise—that Sarah Young hears from Jesus and then dutifully brings his messages to her readers. Jesus Calling makes the boldest, gutsiest, and, to my mind, most arrogant claim of any book ever to be considered Christian. The publisher describes the book in this way: “After many years of writing her own words in her prayer journal, missionary Sarah Young decided to be more attentive to the Savior’s voice and begin listening for what He was saying. So with pen in hand, she embarked on a journey that forever changed her—and many others around the world. In these powerful pages are the words and Scriptures Jesus lovingly laid on her heart. Words of reassurance, comfort, and hope. Words that have made her increasingly aware of His presence and allowed her to enjoy His peace (italics mine).” There is no way to avoid her claim that she is communicating divine revelation, a claim that raises a host of questions and concerns, not the least of which is the doctrine of Scripture alone which assures us that the Bible and the Bible alone is sufficient to guide us in all matters of faith and practice.
2. She proclaims the insufficiency of the Bible. Jesus Calling only exists because Sarah Young had a deep desire to hear from God outside of the Bible. In the introduction she describes the book’s genesis: “I began to wonder if I … could receive messages during my times of communing with God. I had been writing in prayer journals for years, but that was one-way communication: I did all the talking. I knew that God communicated with me through the Bible, but I yearned for more. Increasingly, I wanted to hear what God had to say to me personally on a given day.” In those few sentences she sets up unnecessary competition between her revelation and what we are told of the Bible in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Biblically, there is no category for what she provides as the heart and soul of her book. Biblically, there is no need for it and no reason we should expect or heed it.
3. Her deepest experience of God comes through a practice God does not endorse. Young does not only endorse her practice of listening, but goes so far as to elevate it as the chief spiritual discipline. “This practice of listening to God has increased my intimacy with Him more than any other spiritual discipline, so I want to share some of the messages I have received. In many parts of the world, Christians seem to be searching for a deeper experience of Jesus’ Presence and Peace. The messages that follow address that felt need.” Notice that her solution to addressing the desire for Jesus’ Presence and Peace is not Scripture or any other means of grace, but the very messages she provides in her book.
4. She is inspired by untrustworthy models. In early versions of Jesus Calling, Young tells of her discovery of the book God Calling and the way she modeled her practice of listening on it. She describes it as “a devotional book written by two anonymous ‘listeners.’ These women practiced waiting quietly in God’s Presence, pencils and paper in hand, recording the messages they received from Him. This little paperback became a treasure to me. It dove-tailed remarkably well with my longing to live in Jesus’ Presence.” It is worth noting that recent versions of Jesus Calling have been scrubbed of this information. God Calling is an equally troubling book that saw much success beginning in the 1930s and has seen a revival of interest in the wake of Jesus Calling. It is at times subbiblical and at other times plainly unbiblical. And yet it is a book she regards as a treasure and a model for her own work.
5. She provides lesser revelation. Young admits that her revelation is different from the Bible’s (“The Bible is, of course, the only inerrant Word of God; my writings must be consistent with that unchanging standard”), but does not explain how her writings are different. Jesse Johnson says, “She does grant that the content of Jesus Calling should be measured against Scripture—but that is true of Scripture as well. In the end, there is no substantial difference in how Young expects us to view Jesus’ words to her, than how we are to view the Bible. I mean, Jesus’ words to Sarah are literally packaged into a devotional, so that we can do our devotionals from them every day.” If her words are actually from Jesus, how can they be any less authoritative or less binding than any word of Scripture?
6. She mimics occult practices. The way in which Young receives her revelation from Jesus smacks of the occult. “I decided to listen to God with pen in hand, writing down whatever I believe He was saying. I felt awkward the first time I tried this, but I received a message. It was short, biblical, and appropriate. It addressed topics that were current in my life: trust, fear, and closeness to God. I responded by writing in my prayer journal.” This is not a far cry from a practice known as “automatic writing” which Wikipedia describes as “an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to produce written words without consciously writing. The words are claimed to arise from a subconscious, spiritual or supernatural source.” Her inspiration was God Calling where it is even clearer that the authors allowed their minds to go blank at which point they supposedly received messages from God. This practice is very different from the giving of biblical revelation where God worked through the thoughts, personalities, and even research of the authors.
7. Her emphasis does not match the Bible’s. Young’s emphasis in Jesus Calling is markedly different from the emphases of the Bible. For example, she speaks seldom of sin and repentance and even less of Christ’s work on the cross. Michael Horton says, “In terms of content, the message is reducible to one point: Trust me more in daily dependence and you’ll enjoy my presence.” While this is not necessarily an unbiblical or inappropriate message, it hardly matches the thrust of the Bible which always pushes toward or flows from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Horton adds, “The first mention of Christ even dying for our sins appears on February 28 (page 61). The next reference (to wearing Christ’s robe) is August 9 (p. 232). Even the December readings focus on a general presence of Jesus in our hearts and daily lives, without anchoring it in Jesus’s person and work in history.”
8. Her tone does not match the Bible’s. It can’t be denied: The Jesus of Sarah Young sounds suspiciously like a twenty-first century, Western, middle-aged woman. If this is, indeed, Jesus speaking, we need to explain why he sounds so markedly different from the Jesus of the gospels or the Jesus of the book of Revelation. Nowhere in Scripture do we find Jesus (or his Father) speaking like this: “When your Joy in Me meets My Joy in you, there are fireworks of heavenly ecstasy.” Or again, “Wear my Love like a cloak of Light, covering you from head to toe.” And, “Bring me the sacrifice of your precious time. This creates sacred space around you—space permeated with My Presence and My Peace.” Why does Jesus suddenly speak in such different language?
9. She generates confusion. By fabricating the spiritual discipline of listening and elevating it to the first place, she generates confusion about the disciplines that God does prescribe for Christians. Michael Horton addresses this one well: “According to the Reformation stream of evangelicalism, God speaks to us in his Word (the arrow pointing down from God to us) and we speak to him in prayer (the arrow directed up to God). However, Jesus Calling confuses the direction of these arrows, blurring the distinction between God’s speech and our response.” What she models and endorses is both confusing and unhelpful.
10. Her book has been corrected. Most people don’t know that Jesus Calling has undergone revisions, not only in the introduction where she removed references to God Calling, but also in the words she claims to have received from Jesus. This, of course, casts even further doubt on the trustworthiness of the revelation she receives. After all, why would words from Jesus need to be revised? Did God lie? Did he change? Did she mis-hear him? There is no good option here, other than to doubt all she has ever claimed to receive.

Stir Yourselves Up,
Slumbering Saints!
Shabbat Shalom, y’all. It is the duty of the pastors and ministers of the Kingdom Gospel, to get a word from Yahweh, and then to faithfully give it to the saints in the assembly, regardless of how our message is received – or perhaps even rejected. Paul stated in
Gal. 1:10 "Do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ"
If the pastor has no word from Yahweh for the saints, it is his duty to wait upon Yahweh, in prayer and in faith, believing that He will give His message for the saints. That is a tremendous responsibility that rests upon those who are ministers of the Gospel. Every pastor is responsible to Yahweh regarding the talents that He has entrusted to each one.
Rom. 14:10, 12 "We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ…Every one of us shall give account of himself to Yahweh".
Ministers of the Gospel are especially accountable.
Luke 12:48 "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.
Mal. 2:7 "The priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they (the saints) should, seek the Law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of Yahweh of hosts"
Hosea 10:12 “It is time to seek Yahweh till He come and rain righteousness upon you.
It is time for each of us to seek Yahweh! Until believers are filled with the Holy Spirit! We pray for that each Sabbath. I was examining Joel 2 this week, which is a prophetic scripture. We read this every Sabbath day, and it takes on greater meaning in relation to revival and walking closer to Yahweh. There are two aspects of many prophecies. One aspect time wise is a way off down the road. The other time wise is a near and closer prophetic aspect. Most of the time the far off aspect is the main focus, but today we will focus on the closer aspect of this prophecy in
Joel 2:11-12 "... the Day of Yahweh is terrible and dreadful, and who can endure it? ‘Yet even now,’ says Yahweh, ‘turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.’ "
The Day of Yahweh will be the last few months of the soon coming Great Tribulation when Yahweh pours out His wrath upon the earth. That will happen just before Yahshua returns. So He pleads with His people, “Yet even now, turn to Me with all your heart.”
Joel 2:13-14 "And rend [tear] your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto Yahweh your Elohim: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents Him of the evil. Who knows if He will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto Yahweh your Elohim?"
In Bible times men would rend and tear their clothing to indicate their sorrow or grief regarding some event. But many times it was merely virtue signaling. It was done in hypocrisy. Here, Yahweh says to NOT rend your clothing but rather to rend your heart. That means to genuinely repent and open your heart to Yahweh, rather than just showing outward signs of grief or sorrow. It emphasizes the importance of sincere inner change over mere external displays of virtue signaling. After being converted for several or many years it is easy to just get in a routine
When the Day of Yahweh arrives it will be too late to repent. The time for that is now. Of course, that brings up the question: “What makes you think that should I repent? I’m not guilty of murder or adultery or idolatry.” Neither am I, but I do not feel that I am ready to meet Yahshua right now. Thankfully, He is giving us a period of time to get ready. It is so easy for us all to get into our habits and patterns of life that do not give Yahweh the highest priority. When I read the Psalms of David I see that he gave Yahweh the highest place in his life. He had a strong personal relationship with Yahweh. Take a look at some verses in
Ps 119:1-3 "Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the Law of Yahweh. Blessed are they who keep His testimonies and who seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways. YOU HAVE COMMANDED US TO KEEP YOUR PRECEPTS DILIGENTLY. O that my ways were directed to keep Your statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all Your Commandments.”
There is a lot to unpack here. The "undefiled in the way" are those who walk fully in Yahweh's Law, with wholehearted obedience and integrity in following His ways. Then David makes a startling statement: “They also do no iniquity.” That lines up with the Apostle John’s words in
1John 3:9 "Everyone who has been begotten by Yahweh does not practice sin because His seed is dwelling within him, and he is not able to practice sin because he has been begotten by Yahweh."
So a true saint does NOT practice sin of any kind. Is it automatic to not practice sin? Is there some spiritual device implanted within that prohibits a saint from sinning? The answer is ‘No.’ We still have a flesh. The author of Psalm 119 King David still had his flesh that he battled. He committed several sins while king and he suffered terrible consequences. Yahweh forgave him but there were still consequences during his lifetime.
The Apostle Paul gives us instructions to deal with our flesh in
Col 3:4-6 "When Christ who is our true Life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your worldly nature —fornication, impurity, sensual passion, unholy desire, and all greed; they are idolatry. It is on account of these very sins that Yahweh's anger is coming,"
Paul says that we are to be hard-nosed against sin. Do not pamper your worldly nature. He lists these sins of sexual immorality because they are dominate our society. They always have. The last sentence shows that Yahweh’s anger is particularly against these because they all are idolatry in one manner or another. We are to think holy, to speak holy and to act holy. Holiness is to be ingrained into the fiber of our being. Paul continues in
Col 3:8-10 "But now you must also put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with its practices and have put on the new man. You are being renewed in full discernment so as to become like Him who created it."
BTW, Paul said in
Eph 4:26 “Be angry and do not sin.”
So any anger must be righteous anger and not fleshly anger. These sins listed in Colossians 3:8 relate to allowing your emotions to control what you say. We live in a time when both men and women use filthy language. It has almost become the norm. I remember back in time if someone used any kind of cursing or filthy words someone else would say, “Hey, there are women and children here.” And then the one using bad words would apologize. Nowadays, you can yourself get cussed out if you say anything to someone who is cursing. The bottom line is that our mouths are to produce righteous and holy words and not the filthy words of this world. It is sad that many so-called Christians even defend their filthy and cursing words. Do you remember the saying, WWJD? What Would Jesus Do? Would Yahshua say any filthy or cursing words?
Then back in Joel Yahweh instructs His ministers to
Joel 2:15 "Blow the trumpet in Zion"
Again, Zion here is a double prophecy: a near and a far off prophecy. The far off refers physically to Mt Zion which is located in the land of Israel. The near prophecy, however, refers to the assemblies of Yahweh. Yahweh is concerned about His people and their spiritual state. Remember that Yahweh said in
1Pet 4:17 "For the time has come; judgment begins with the house of Yahweh; and if it begins with us, what will be the end of those who reject Yahweh's Gospel?"
In order for us the saints to seek Yahshua before He returns, we first must be awakened! The blast of the trumpet of Yahweh must jar us awake! We have a shofar that I blew a few minutes ago, but that is just an audible noise. Blowing the shofar spiritually signifies a call to awaken the souls, reminding believers to reflect on their words and actions and to wholeheartedly return to Yahweh. What do I mean to blow a spiritual shofar? It is just what I am doing right now. I am sounding the alarm for us to get ourselves ready to meet Yahshua. It is time to spiritually wake up.
Rom 13:11 "... you know the critical period at which we are living, and that it is now high time, to rouse yourselves from slumber; for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first became believers."
Sinful slumber must be broken up for the good of each one in the assembly. Just like it is impolite and bad-mannered to go to sleep while someone is talking to you or preaching, it is even more impolite to prefer sleep rather than to have wholehearted obedience to Yahweh's Commandments.
Joel 2:15-19 "Blow the trumpet in Zion, announce a sacred fast; proclaim an assembly: gather the people; sanctify the congregation; assemble the aged; gather the children, even those nursing at the breast.”
This is referring to the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. The only designated sacred fast in scripture is that day. But instead of just a typical annual Day of Atonement, this one is to be different. We are to beseech Yahweh for His land and His people. As the pastor it is my responsibility to seek Yahweh's will, not only for my life but also for the life of this assembly. Each one of us will gather on this coming Day of Atonement. It goes on
Joel 2:17-19 “Let the ministers of Yahweh weep between the porch and the altar. Let them say: ‘Have pity on Your people, Yahweh, and do not make Your inheritance a disgrace, an object of scorn among the nations. Why should it be said among the peoples, “Where is their Elohim?” Then will Yahweh be jealous for His land, and pity His people. Yea, Yahweh will answer and say unto His people, ‘Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen.’ "
Nowadays we think of a porch as a place of relaxation, a place to rest. However, in the Temple the porch was where the people gathered to be taught from Yahweh's Word. Similar to this building where we assemble each Sabbath. The altar was a place of sacrifice. Nowadays we do not sacrifice animals, but we are to sacrifice.
Heb 13:15 "Then through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to Yahweh always, that is, the fruit of the lips, giving thanks to His name."
So, at the place of gathering for preaching and for praise ministers are to pray. Pray for what? The key is in the phrase, “Why should it be said among the peoples, ‘Where is their Elohim?’” Currently, many people claim that we are trying to earn our salvation. Some say that we are under a curse. We are objects of reproach and scorn for many people. In order for those attitudes to be reversed those people must become Commandment obedient themselves. So we must pray for that. We must take action. That is why my wife and I travel to places where sexual immorality, idolatry, shedding of blood or breaking Yahweh's Eternal Covenant has occurred in order to reclaim the land. To reclaim the land will lessen the influence by evil spirits and advance the spread of the Kingdom Gospel. The Apostle John records his vision of the Great Tribulation and the vast multitude in
Rev 7:9-10,14 "After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our Elohim, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb! 14 These are the ones coming out of the Great Tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Obviously, I believe the Great Tribulation will begin very soon, and the responsibility of every Commandment-keeper is to pray for them to receive Yahweh's Word and to obey His Commandments. We pray for Yahweh to fulfill His Word, and it will only happen by our prayers and actions to reclaim the land. Yahweh has called us to do this. Will you join us? Will you intercede for our Christian brothers and sisters to respond to Yahweh's Holy Spirit?
