Pastor Kimberly’s last day with Grace UMC is June 21, and she will be moving on June 22. We’ll only have one service at 8:45 on June 21, which works perfectly as we are planning a send-off brunch following the service. You’re invited to bring a dish to share
if you want to.
Everyone, plan to come! Let’s show our appreciation to the Bowles family for their years serving at Grace UMC and wish them many blessings as they begin serving at the Nevada, Iowa United Methodist Church.
Note: No 10:30 worship service on June 21.
🌜 Parents’ Night Out 🌛
The Girl Scouts will host a Parents’ Night Out on June 19 from
6–9 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church (Fellowship Hall). The
event is open to children up to age 11 and will include pizza, snacks, games, crafts, and a movie, all supervised by trained Girl Scouts and adults. Cost is $25 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Space is limited to 25 children. Please sign up by June 18. For more information or to register, contact [email protected].
🌐 Mission Ingathering Kit Info 🚼
Mission Ingathering is November 7, 2026.
The Mission Committee has chosen 5 kits to collect items for. You’re invite d to bring some of the items in a kit or a complete kit. Each month a kit will be promoted, however the items may be brought to the church from May – October 31. All items for the kits must be new.
The June kit is – Birthing Kit. The items needed are –
1 Hand Towel 1 Washcloth
1 Bar Soap (3-4 oz.)
2 Receiving Blankets 28’x28’ or 32”x32”
2 Contractor bags or heavy duty trash bags (2 mil+ thickness)
Donations may be brought to the church office or put in the boxes provided in the sanctuary overflow room.
👶 Swaddling Clothes 👶
June startup of a diaper and wipe distribution program/ministry
here in Mills County. The name of the program is Swaddling Clothes and is not affiliated/connected to Trinity Lutheran except for the use of the building for a base of storage and distribution. It is all volunteer run - from acquisitions to distribution.
Saturday, June 20 is the grand kick-off day! From then on,
distribution days will be on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The
operation time for clients to receive diapers/wipes is 9-11:30 am.
If you have any questions, would like to volunteer, or have
donations, please call/text Connie Wilson (402-917-6210).

All you do is click in the box you want to sign-up in and type your name(s). If it’s your first time using the sign-up, you may need to click on the editing tab before the program allows you to type in a box. The first page is July & August and the second page is May & June.
