Thank you to everyone who came out to the back to school splash! We heard a great devotional on Romans 12:2 and two friends Sam and Joe and how the choices we make today will impact us in the future, so make good choices.

This summer is all about life skills for our teens, and we’re learning from the talented members of our church through hands-on experiences.

A huge thank you to Bro. Dusty and Sis. Lacey Skates for teaching us the art of turkey calling! The teens had a great time learning how to recognize the difference between the right and wrong calls and practicing their own calling techniques.

Most importantly, we talked about how, just like a turkey hunters (and turkeys) learn to recognize the right call, God’s people learn to recognize His voice by listening to His Word.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27

The more time we spend in the Bible, the easier it becomes to recognize God’s voice and follow His leading.

This summer our teens are learning ‘Life Skills’ tonight Bro Kenny taught how to build a sermon. We made a sermon over Psalm 119:10-12

Biscuits and gravy!!!

This summer is all about life skills for our teens! We’re learning from our church members and gaining hands-on experience.

A huge thank you to Bro. Jeff and Sis. Beverly for teaching us how to make homemade biscuits and sausage gravy! Each teen was sent home with an easy cookbook with 24 recipes and a can of homemade jelly from the Turners!
