The Student Ministry from Riverview Baptist Church in Bixby, OK was in town today serving at the Storehouse. Pastor Jim and Marty Stavas (and others) planned and organized the event. Students cleaned the outside property, scrubbed the walk-in refrigerator, and did a lot of general cleanup. It was a wonderful blessing to our community.

The Women’s Missionary Union at Calvary is hosting a special missions study focused on Brazil, the Amazon River, and the Southern Baptists sharing the gospel there.

We’ll hear from a guest who grew up in Brazil and has firsthand experience with Baptist churches and missionaries in her home country. Expect cultural items, plenty of Brazilian food, and even a quick lesson in Portuguese—yes, you’ll walk away knowing how to say “hello” and “goodbye.”
