📣 The Mar Ephrem Diaconate Formation School is beginning its new academic year on Saturday, September 12 at 8:30 AM at Mar Sargis Church (5050 Church Street), with the blessing of His Grace Mar Paulus Benjamin.

The program is designed to help children, youth, and adults grow in their faith and prepare for service within the Assyrian Church of the East. Clergy and parents are encouraged to support and motivate young people to participate.

Formation Programs for Young Men:
* Ages 12–14: Preparation for service as Readers
* Ages 14–16: Preparation for the Subdiaconate
* Ages 16–18: Preparation for service as Evangelical Deacons, subject to Church approval

Formation Programs for Young Women
Young women are encouraged to participate and may receive training to serve as catechists, assisting with religious education in Friday and Sunday schools.

Other Opportunities for Service
Young men who do not feel called to ordained ministry are also invited to participate and prepare for the ministry of catechist and teacher.

Curriculum: Students will receive instruction in:
* Holy Scripture
* The faith and teachings of the Church of the East
* Liturgy and worship

The school aims to strengthen the future of the Church by forming faithful young servants grounded in Scripture, apostolic faith, liturgical tradition, and Christian service.
