Dear Congregants and Visitors:

Temple Beth El wants to help you to fulfill all your tchotchke dreams! In our oneg room, there is a table FULL of miscellaneous stuff designed to fill your home and annoy your significant other/roommate. Take as much as you'd like (sorry in advance, Significant Other/Roommate). All we ask is a monetary donation in the amount YOU think is appropriate. As items leave for new horizons, new things will be added. If you cannot come to Friday-night services and know you will be taking something, please message us so we can set up an appointment.

Thank you so much to everyone involved with our indoor "yard" sale, including Tanis and Sharla for spending weeks scouring the Temple basement for items, lugging them upstairs, cleaning them and setting things up! Thank you also to the amazing Katherine for assistance with setting up, selling and organizing! And last but not least, thanks go to Charles for acting as security and helping to clean up and put things away at the end of the day!

Holocaust survivors deserve a day of joy; a day of celebration. Not a day to share with condemnation of the N***s, but a day to celebrate their lives they built in response to the Holocaust. Survivors represent the best in all of us, the best of the human spirit.

Many thanks to Josh and Rob for teaching our Greater Glens Falls Hebrew School students how to braid challah (and for making the dough and baking the loaves)! The kids were so excited to take home their very own challahs!
