Mercy Mission II

Mercy Mission II Mercy Mission II is a nonprofit food pantry and clothing closet serving Glenpool and surrounding areas. In 2014, Mercy Mission II was born from those efforts.

Mercy Mission originally began in the early 1980’s with Pastor Bob Thomas of First Grace Church as he looked for ways to serve those less fortunate in Glenpool with food and other assistance. Today, MMII is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with board members from 5 area churches, and other local residents with a heart to serve. Mercy Mission II remains true to the original dream, with the intent of expanding services to help those in the South County area.

We are excited to participate in Glenpool's City Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-12pm, where we will be hosting a large yard sale giveaway of our overstocked items, all available at no cost. Many families are one paycheck, car repair away from this situation., especially the working poor living paycheck to paycheck without any extra cushion. Food insecurity in the U.S. and in our own community is REAL. Kaylie’s story is why we do what we do and why we would like to do even more to help to help children like her.

We'll be open tomorrow, Saturday, December 20th, and again on Monday. We will close atter Monday to allow our devoted volunteers to spend time with their families, before reopening on January 3rd. To our cherished clients, selfless volunteers, and loyal supporters, we extend warm wishes for a Christmas and New Year that overflows with hope, promise, and boundless joy.
