The statement in Joel 3:14 is true for many in America and around the World.

The word “Multitudes” is even repeated and I believe that is the Lord emphasizing it.

God still desires to and can save anyone that will come to Him through Christ’s atoning blood shed on Calvary.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Our Country and world are filled with millions upon millions that are looking for something... we children of God know it’s not something, but Someone (The Lord Jesus Christ) that they search for, lack and need!

Ephesians 5:15-17
[15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

May we as God’s people, utilize this time, our talents as well treasures to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I ask first of all, that you actually READ all of this (and not just put up praying hands), as I’m wanting prayers for myself, our church and God’s work in this world.

Over the last several weeks (really a couple months or longer), I’ve noticed a strong manifestation and mindset amongst people inside and outside of church.

Transparently, I’m frustrated, but even more than that… I’m heartbroken!

Mostly because I see Satan at work, hurting God’s work, but also in weaponizing fellow believers.

I share these thoughts with the hope of helping us to see and not succumb to being used by the enemy, as often is the case without many even realizing.

May I ask all who are reading this to ask the Lord as David did in:

Psalm 139:23-24
[23] Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: [24] And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Read on and may the Lord show us each where change is needed or solidify to remain what’s right and holy!

The contrast between complementing (building up, encouraging) and complaining (murmuring, criticizing) is a sobering theme in the Bible.

Scripture consistently presents speech as something that can either give life or cause harm.

Here’s a side-by-side look with relevant verses:

1. Complementing (Encouraging, Building Up)

Speech that strengthens others is praised:

* Ephesians 4:29
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

* Proverbs 16:24
“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.”

* 1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”

* Proverbs 15:1
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”

Principle: Complementing others reflects wisdom, love, and self-control. It builds unity and reflects God’s character.

2. Complaining (Murmuring, Negative Speech)

Scripture warns strongly against complaining:

* Philippians 2:14
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings.”

* 1 Corinthians 10:10
“Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.”

* Numbers 14:27
“How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me?”

* James 5:9
“Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned…”

Principle: Complaining often reflects discontentment, pride, or ingratitude—and often leads to division and destruction.

3. The Deep Contrast

* Complementing = faith, gratitude, humility, love

* Complaining = doubt, dissatisfaction, negativity

This contrast echoes a broader biblical truth:

* Proverbs 18:21
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”

“Forgiveness”

Forgiveness seen,
Important be,
When we’re the one in need,
But often lack,
And even slack,
Due others for their deeds.
Consider then,
How, where and when,
To have a vast supply,
For day will come,
This life be done,
Too oft we’d not ere try.

As often is the case, while I was driving, I saw this former fence and corral that someone had built years ago.

I considered the time, materials and hard work that went in to producing it and making it usable.

Now it sits broken down and rotting, remaining just a memory of “what was” to all that pass that way.

——————

Nehemiah 2:13
And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.

——————

Perhaps the post holes were dug in the heat of the sun, and the timbers added one by one… now just a relic of what once produced safety and satisfaction in its heyday!

Many today, live fractured and fragmented lives, because they never learned or don’t see the value of mending fences.

Mending before things break.
Mending before there’s a breech.
Mending before time only shows it broken.

——————

Proverbs 25:28
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

——————

Life is a teacher and the Bible (the Book of Life) is the best and brightest teacher of all.

God seeks to guide us, instructs us and even stop us from finding our lives in the condition of this ole fenced corral.

Yet many, resist and reject God’s loving instruction, guidance or correction, when He seeks to mend and make us a new.

——————

Proverbs 29:1
He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Learn to Look.
Look to Listen.
Listen to Learn.

“Lessons for a lighter Life”

Thankful for what I have had
And what I never did
Sometimes we feel a certain way
But from others keep it hid.

We envy those with more than we
Think we wish for what they have
Missing what God wonderfully us gave
Though we often thought it bad.

Our parents at times we didn’t agree
It seemed they just didn’t understand
They’ve often been where we’d wish to go
And bare scars left by experience’s hand.

The tears, sweat and furrowed brows
Worn by many who’d walked troubling sod
Might cause us sing a different tune
If we felt same pains from paths they’d trod.

So look to these reminder’s ole
Consider all one can possibly learn
Educate and lifelong pain escape
By observation than taking your turn.

John 2:18-19
Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? [19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
