There comes a moment when seeing the need is no longer enough. We are called to respond.
Every day, children and families in our communities face challenges that can leave them vulnerable, unsupported, and without the village they need.
So we’re asking one simple question:
WHO WILL STAND?
Who will stand with the child who needs to be seen?
Who will stand beside the family carrying more than they can handle alone?
Who will stand in the gap and say, “You don’t have to do this by yourself”?
This October, Harvest Family Life Ministries is calling churches, community leaders, organizations, advocates, and everyday people to come together around one shared purpose: strengthening the village around children and families.
This is bigger than an event. It’s a call to see, to care, and to act.
The call has been made. Will you answer?

🎓 Together We Thrive – 2nd Annual Project Graduation
Every young person deserves to begin adulthood with hope, dignity, and the support of a caring community.
Project Graduation is an annual initiative of Harvest Family Life Ministries, in partnership with the Dallas County Child Protection Court, created to honor and equip youth who are aging out of foster care.
While graduation is a time of celebration, many of these young adults are stepping into independence without the family support or basic household essentials that most young adults take for granted. Through Project Graduation, we celebrate their accomplishments while providing Launch Kits filled with necessities that help them begin this new chapter with confidence.
Each graduate receives practical items such as:
    •    🛏️ Bedding and linens
    •    🍽️ Kitchen essentials
    •    🧺 Cleaning supplies
    •    🚿 Toiletries and personal care items
    •    🏠 Small household appliances
    •    💳 Gift cards
    •    📚 Organizational supplies
    •    ❤️ Encouragement from a community that believes in their future
Our goal is not simply to celebrate a graduation—but to invest in a future.

Reconciliation without restoration isn’t enough.
Our words must turn into action.
Stand Sunday,
we stand for foster youth—
to restore, rebuild, and remind them they are not forgotten.
Everyone has a role to play in standing for children and families in critical life situations involving child welfare. No one person or church can do everything, but every person and every church can do something. Who will stand? 💜

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—
words we all hold dear, yet for so many children, still out of reach.
As April comes to a close,
our fight for Child Abuse Awareness does not end—
it grows stronger, deeper, and more urgent.
We lift a prayer for every voice in this fight,
that no heart grows weary,
no hand falls still,
and no light fades in the darkness.
We pray for the unseen child—
the one waiting, hoping, hurting in silence—
that they will be found,
that they will be seen,
that they will be rescued and restored.
And as we move forward,
may love be louder,
may courage be stronger,
and may every child one day truly know
what it means to be safe, free, and whole.

Last week we were beyond honored to announce a formal Proclamation recognizing the impact of Harvest Family Life Ministries. This honor belongs to every church, partner, and volunteer who has joined in the mission to transform the lives of children and families in the child welfare system.

Dear Friends,
I recently watched American and Canadian astronauts give remarks after their historic mission. They traveled farther from Earth than any humans before them—around the far side of the moon.
As I listened, I thought about what is possible.
If humanity can reach the far side of the moon, surely we can reach the hurting child next door.
If we can engineer spacecraft to travel through space, surely we can build families that provide love, safety, and belonging.
If teams can live and work together in harmony in space, surely we can come together to care for vulnerable children and families struggling in poverty.
Surely we can ensure every child who needs a loving foster or kinship home finds one.
Surely we can build a community where no child leaves care without a forever family.
This is more than hope. It is the mission of Harvest Family Life Ministries.
Our mission is clear: to engage the Church to care for vulnerable children and families until every child is seen, supported, and placed in a loving, forever home.
Please pray for us as we work with leaders across our state to strengthen families and communities.
