The Summer Empowerment & Exploration Experience broadened the horizons of our young ladies through immersive HBCU exposure and scholarship opportunities.

We wrapped up our program with presentations on future careers, skills to acquire, education to obtain, and first time jobs and/ or volunteer opportunities to seek this summer.

Our young ladies also had the incredible opportunity to connect and converse with women who are thriving in the exact careers they dream of pursuing, while receiving firsthand insight on why pursuing higher education is beneficial for their careers.

Thanks to these HBCUs, Coppin State University Morgan State University Bowie State University and Howard University for providing school swag and information for our girls. For some, this was their very first time being exposed to an HBCU.

This opportunity to partner with All Nations Seventh-Day Adventist Church of St. Petersburg Florida to empower young ladies in the Tampa Bay Area was life changing.
