All are welcome to join us for worship this coming Sunday (May 19) which is Pentecost Sunday. The Rev. Dennis Keen, a former pastor, will bring the morning message. His message is entitled, "Happy Birthday, Church!" and is based on Acts 2:1-21. Pastor Keen is requesting people to wear something red to celebrate this very special day in the life of the church. The service starts at 10am.

Our annual Chicken Bar-B-Q will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, from 4-6PM. The cost is $11/dinner and includes: 1/2 chicken, baked potato, cole slaw, apple sauce, roll, butter and dessert. Reservations are recommended. This year dinners are take out only (walk-ins welcome until sold out). Call or text 610-613-2657 to reserve tickets. All are welcome to join us for our Easter Day celebration. We are having only one service, which starts at 7am. The morning message is entitled "A Week to Remember or From Now On." It's based on Luke 24:1-12. After the worship, the congregation is invited to stay for breakfast. This is Pastor Keen's last Sunday. We look forward to seeing you.

Please join us for worship at Nantmeal United Methodist Church, 359 Nantmeal Road, Glenmore, PA 19343, as we remember and commemorate the last days of Holy Week Christ. The is as follows.

Holy Thursday, April 18--The service starts at 7PM. "The Spirit Anointed Christ for Mercy" is the title of the evening message. The message is based on Luke 18:18 and 19. Jesus' Last Supper will be remembered by the congregation participating in a celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Special music will be provided. At the end of the service the altar and chancel will stripped to symbolize the desolation of Jesus as he was betrayed. It is left that way until Easter Sunday.

Good Friday, April 19--A Community Good Friday Service will be held at Nantmeal UMC, starting at 2PM. This service is sponsored by the Warwick/Coventryville Ministerium. The message is entitled, "30 Pieces of Silver and A Failed Hope." It is based on Matthew 26:14-16. Special music will be provided.

Easter Day, April 21--There will be one service at 7AM. The morning message is entitled, "A Week to Remember or From Now On." It's based on Luke 24:1-12. A breakfast will be held immediately after the service. This will be Pastor Keen's last Sunday as pastor of the Nantmeal Church, as he is retiring.

Tomorrow is Palm/Passion Sunday, the first day of Holy Week. Please join us as we observe the triumphal entry of Jesus into the holy city of Jerusalem. "Your King is Coming" is the title of the morning message. Please read Matthew 21:1-17 before coming to worship. Palms will be given to all in attendance. Immediately after worship, a Farewell Luncheon will be held in the church's Fellowship Hall for Rev. and Mrs. Keen. The luncheon is a celebration of their ministry of the past two and half years at the Nantmeal UMC. He is retiring after nearly 45 years of service in the United Methodist Church.
