Tonight was our last night of confirmation for the year. Last week, with a group of pastors, we were asked “what about your ministry is life-giving?” My immediate thought was “confirmation class.” Our weekly time together has become a highlight of my week. Our group of four is the largest class I have had, and it has been a joy. Confirmation is not graduation from church. It is an opportunity for young people to learn, grow, and say “Yes! I want to be part of this, and I believe this, despite all my sinfulness.” As we make plans for summer, church camp, future youth trips, and confirmation in the fall, I pray that God blesses each of these young people with faith, peace, and joy in all that comes their way. -Pastor Jaimie

On this Maundy Thursday, we are reminded that Judas ate, too. How often do we sell out Christ for far less than 30 pieces of silver? But, we eat, too. Praise be to God for this gift of forgiveness, life, and salvation.
