Parents & students, it is with a heavy heart that I share that one of our friends from High School Camp, Matthew Doyal passed away Sunday afternoon after complications with his diabetes.

Matthew would've been a sophomore at McLean County High School this year.

I don't have any details on his arrangements yet, but will share those when I do.

Please keep his family in your prayers. You may remember his sister Elizabeth from Camp, and his mom's name is Khristy.

I did find out today that he was baptized at his home church after Camp on July 5th!

Mission Trip 2026 was a huge success as we joined 160+ volunteers from 11 different churches from 8 states to form 21 Work Crews and complete 24+ projects throughout and around Hardin County!
A very special thanks to our GCC family that stepped up to lead as Crew Chiefs, First Aid Coordinator and Lunch Crews!
