Day 8: The team enjoyed a slightly later start before immersing ourselves in the historical heart of Comayagua. We explored the central square and stepped inside the Comayagua Cathedral, one of Central America's oldest churches.
A true highlight was touring the Comayagua Cathedral Clock, also known as the Arabic Clock. This remarkable medieval gear clock is not only considered the oldest clock in the Americas but also the oldest gear clock in the world still in operation, having presumably kept time for over 900 years!
Our final evening was a powerful one, spent ministering with the people of the Comayagua Vineyard. We shared a beautiful time of worship, led by the gifted Josue, Lisa, and Zac. Stephany bravely shared her inspiring testimony, and Pastor Keith delivered a heartfelt message, translated by Julio. We had an amazing time of ministry, and we rejoiced as one person was healed of physical pain. It was a truly amazing time of ministry.
As we reflect on our last night here, it's bittersweet to leave Honduras. We are incredibly grateful for all that God has done these past eight days. A profound thank you to everyone who has prayed for this trip and supported us financially. Your prayers and generosity made a huge impact on this mission trip. Thank you so much! ππ³π
