First Presbyterian Church, Glendale, OH

First Presbyterian Church, Glendale, OH We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM.

First Presbyterian Church of Glendale is a warm, welcoming congregation that's been worshiping together in the Village of Glendale since 1855 ~ and we'd love for you to join us. We gather every Sunday in an historic building located in the village of Glendale, just south of the village square. In weekly worship we seek to glorify the triune God of grace: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through prayer

, music, preaching and the celebration of the sacraments. We share in fellowship with one another after church over coffee and refreshments at least once a month, and by regular gatherings. Varied service and mission opportunities allows us to put into practice the values of scripture and the example of Jesus. If you are looking for a church we invite you to join with us as we respond to God's saving love through worship and mission, and share the mercy and hospitality of Jesus Christ with others.

We're looking ahead with anticipation to the start of our fall program year, which begins Sunday, September 13th! Weekly and special worship services, choir, book discussions and Bible studies, fellowship dinners and events, weekly coffee fellowship, and mission projects are all on the agenda.

First time joining us? Come as you are. All are welcome.

On Sunday, September 13, our regular 10:30 AM worship time resumes. The choir will begin Thursday practices on September 10 at 7:00 PM, with Sunday morning choir practice every week at 9:45 AM. If you're interested in participating, just stop by a Thursday practice (all voices welcome, just show up) or contact the church office at 513.771.6195 for more information.

As always, following the worship service, everyone is invited to Coffee Fellowship right after the service. Coffee Fellowship is simply coffee, light refreshments, and a chance to talk with people --- no agenda required. You'll find it in the brick building next door to the Sanctuary (you can just follow the crowd, and someone will be glad to walk over with you). You're always welcome to stop in for a few minutes or stay as long as you like; there's no need to know anyone ahead of time.

Maundy Thursday Service – April 2 at 7:00 PM

Join us this Thursday evening as we commemorate Jesus' gathering with his disciples in the Upper Room — where he washed their feet, instituted the Lord's Supper, and gave the new commandment: "Love one another."

It's a brief but meaningful service of reflection and worship, and all are welcome.
