FBC's Women's Ministry is hosting our first Soup Swap! To participate, register, pay, and sign up to bring a soup, salad, bread, or dessert. Then, email your recipe to Nicky Saries.

Everyone who attends will have access to a recipe book created from all the recipes used. You can also purchase raffle tickets to "win" a themed basket. The proceeds will support scholarships for our yearly women's retreat. Register on the FBC app or website.

Join us on February 8th for a neighborhood cleanup at our Annual Granada Estates Serve Day. Hundreds of volunteers will assist their neighbors by providing minor landscaping help, spreading rock into yards, litter patrol, etc.

Volunteers must arrive at 7:30am to sign in at Greenway Granada Park, 7217 W. Sherri Jean Ln., Peoria AZ 85382.

Dear Church family, on this eve of remembering the birth of our savior it breaks my heart to have to share with you. The following posted on Rajai Samawii’s Facebook this morning:

With a heart full of sadness and shock but also in prayer, I mourn my friend, brother and partner in ministry in Istanbul, the beloved servant of the Gospel, Mohanad, who passed to his heavenly home this morning in Istanbul at the age of 50! I can't find the words to express my sadness and tears for losing my partner, friend and the confusion I'm going through! I am still in shock trying to gather my thoughts but I know that the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever! Please pray for his mother, sister and brother that the Lord would comfort their hearts and especially for the Church in Istanbul and all those who love him who are still in shock by what has happened! We celebrated together a few days before Christmas in Istanbul and as usual, we sat, laughed, talked and said goodbye to each other in the hope of meeting very soon! I love the pastor of the church, the children and everyone. I love him for his creation and his kind open heart for all! He loved Jordan with all his heart and Al-Salt, especially his hometown, and he longed to return to Jordan, and we were planning to visit Al-Salt together and many other places that were linked in his memory, but unfortunately that will not happen! He was an honest, loving man with unforgettable moments! Mohannad Nashmi Jordanian Salti will be missed by everyone, especially the Kurdish children in Istanbul! And me, still trying to wake up from the shock hall buddy! Bye bye pills! You are in a better place! I'm going to miss you my friend!

Burial details will be announced later if the bodies have arrived in Jordan!

What is Re:generation?

Re:generation is a discipleship-based ministry with a recovery application. It uses the 12 Steps to foster spiritual formation in our lives. God’s story is one of man enjoying God’s blessings, taking them for granted, and then gradually falling away from God as our sinful nature lures us away. The Bible tells us that God wants to reconcile us to Himself, repeatedly reaching out to us.

Through the journey of re:generation’s 12 Steps, we learn how to open ourselves up to restoring our intimacy with God. We know how to identify struggles in our lives that are pushing us away from God and then discover how to deal with them in a biblical way that glorifies God.

If your walk with Christ has gone flat and you feel you have been on a plateau wondering how to restore that spark of love for God, then you might give re: gen a try. It is a safe place to explore where and how you lost your intimacy with Christ and then to be guided not only on how to restore it but also on how to go deeper with Him.

We are more than just a community, we are a family of Christ followers who have recovered our love of Jesus by finding freedom from those things that weigh us down. Come join us. You will see lives changed, and if you decide to stay with us, your life will change as well. Experience the joy of renewed intimacy with our Creator and Savior.

If you are new to your relationship with Christ as your Savior, your journey through the Steps of re:generation will, in less than twelve months, give you the spiritual foundation on how to live your life biblically, with a close intimacy of making Jesus the Lord of your life as well as your Savior. It’s a journey of personal growth and spiritual discovery.
