**VBS planning is underway!**
Vacation Bible School is for children Pre-K - those who have completed 4th grade. VBS will be held August 2nd –5th with the theme “River of Life” through the ELCA World Hunger Program.

Sunday, August 2nd will be a special inter-generational event with worship at Oak Leaf Park, followed by pool time and crafts.
Monday–Wednesday, VBS will meet from 6:00–7:30 PM with crafts, games, music, Bible lessons, and snacks.

We are especially in need of volunteers to help with games, crafts, and snacks. Volunteers should arrive at 5:30 PM each evening. Please check the Sign-Up Genius (shared on our page) to see where you can help make VBS a fun and faith-filled experience for our children!

Tomorrow is the Day of Pentecost, when the Spirit of God - Ruach Elohim - opened the eyes, hearts, and minds of the disciples and thus began the Church. We will celebrate God’s Holy Spirit, the promises that Jesus gave to all, and the future that is before us. Join us at 9:00 am and don’t forget to wear red.

Today we celebrated Christ as our Gatekeeper because we know his voice, ands He knows us. We also celebrated and blessed our graduating 2026 seniors in love and blessings with the Baccalaureate service. Bless you as you go in peace and serve the Lord.

Cheryl D. VonBerge, age 50, daughter of Dianne VonBerge and step-daughter of Robert VonBerge, of Brooklyn Center, formerly of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 12:00 P.M., at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota, with internment following at Ferguson Cemetery, rural Norwood Young America.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M., two hours prior to the service, ALL at the church.
