Create powerful karmic causes to achieve the deeply blissful mind of permanent mental freedom, also known as nirvana.

Aug 11 | Freedom Starts With Accepting Change

Aug 18 | Becoming Stronger At The Source

Aug 25 | What Does Nirvana Really Mean?

Sept 1 | Enjoying Our Mind All The Time

Sept 8 | How To Do Retreat In Daily Life And Away

Engaging in this joyful sequence of meditations frees us from the grip of daily problems, and imprints our mind to become more tranquil and positive, pure and powerful.

This series is great preparation for those wishing to attend our annual Away Retreat at IKRC Grand Canyon with KMC Los Angeles on September 10 -13, 2026.

Creating World Peace 1 Festival at a Time 🕊️

KMC SF’s Dharma Dozen had the good fortune to hear priceless teachings, enjoy old friends and make new ones amongst the 45 countries represented at the 2026 International Summer Festival at the Manjushri Temple for World Peace.

Temple Updates!

Over the last two weeks and up until our reopening on August 11th an amazing crew of contractors and skilled workers are helping remodel KMC SF Temple !

We are fixing and updating the buildings siding, removing and upgrading the emergency exit doors and sealing up the windows and building an entry ramp for those needing assistance to get into the temple! Making KMC SF more welcoming to all who are seeking inner peace.

Also during the closeur a team of dedicated volunteers have completed a deep dive into cleaning and sorting out the temple kitchen and redid the bookstore and community room!

We are on schedule to resume evening classes, Tuesday, August 11th at 6:30pm with Gen Choma!
