The world constantly tells us to find our identity in our accomplishments, possessions, careers, or relationships. Psalm 100 points us somewhere much more secure: God made us.

We belong to Him.

That truth changes how we see ourselves. Our value isn’t determined by how successful we are or how other people treat us. We are God’s creation.

It also reminds us that we aren’t ultimately in control. God is God, and we are not. That’s not something to fear—it is something to rest in.

Where are you trying to control something that you need to place in God’s hands?

“Lord, remind me that You are God and that You created me for Your purposes. Help me trust You instead of trying to control everything myself. Amen.”

God doesn’t merely call us to serve Him—He calls us to serve with gladness.

It’s possible to do the right thing with the wrong attitude. We can serve at church, help our families, work hard, and still become frustrated or resentful.

Psalm 100 reminds us that serving God is a privilege. Every act of kindness, every encouraging word, every sacrifice, and every opportunity to help someone can become an act of worship.

Today, don’t focus only on what you’re doing. Ask God to transform how you do it.

“Father, give me a servant’s heart. Help me serve You and others with joy rather than obligation. May my attitude bring You glory. Amen.”

Psalm 100 begins with a call to joy. Praise isn’t reserved for the days when everything goes right. We are invited to praise God simply because He is worthy.

Sometimes our circumstances determine our attitude. If the day goes well, we’re thankful. If things go wrong, our praise disappears. But biblical praise is different. It is rooted not in what is happening around us but in who God is.

Today, choose joy. Even if you are facing difficulties, take a moment to thank God for His presence, His mercy, and His faithfulness.

What is one thing you can praise God for today?

“Lord, help me to choose praise even when my circumstances are difficult. Give me a joyful heart that recognizes Your goodness. Amen.”

Daniel lived long enough to see God begin restoring his people. He never stopped praying, never stopped believing, never stopped trusting. Exile is not the end - God sustains until he restores!

Where do you need to trust God’s long-term plan?

“Lord, sustain me until your restoration comes.”

Daniel’s enemies expected his destruction - but God turned the lions’ den into a testimony. God still shuts the mouths of lions: fear, accusation, anxiety, and spiritual attack.

What “lion” in your life needs God’s intervention?
