Dinkins – Leonard Clarence Dinkins, age 77, of Macclenny, Florida passed away on March 10, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 1, 1947, to the late Claude Dinkins and Cleo Burnett Dinkins. Leonard was a lifelong resident of Baker County and enjoyed working at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital while attending school. He graduated from Baker County High School in 1966 and shortly after started working for the State Road Department and then was a Corrections Officer with Union Correctional Institute for 25 years until his retirement in 1995. Leonard enjoyed his career and was proud to serve in the prison system. He met his best friend and forever companion, Vera Ann Sapp, while in high school and they were married on September 8, 1968. They shared 48 amazing years together and made many great memories. Leonard was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family was certainly most important, and he valued the time he was able to spend with them. Leonard enjoyed NASCAR racing; Chase Elliot was one of his favorite drivers. He also enjoyed shooting guns and attending Road to Calvary Church when he was able. Leonard was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vera Dinkins; sister, Hazel Walker; and brother, Hayden Dinkins.

Leonard is survived by his loving son, Terry (Theresa) Dinkins of Greeneville, TN; grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, and Andrew (Tilena) Dinkins; a great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kingsley, and Magnolia Dinkins; along with several extended family members and friends.

A Graveside Celebration of Leonard’s Life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Sapp Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Anderson officiating. Sandra Darlene Robinson, 69, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on March 7, 2024 after a brief illness. Sandra was born on March 29, 1954 to Maisie Harvey and Wilton Davis.

She is the beloved mother to Roger Robinson, Jr. (Bubba), Jeanie Robinson and Bobbie Dyal.

She will be forever remembered by her siblings Wanda Sue Holdampf (Leo), Melissa Harnage, Joanie August (David), Donna Franklin (Ralph), Patsy Julian (Andy), Terry Davis (Karen), Ricky Davis (Grace), and David Baggs. She was also the aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with friends and family and especially quality time with her grandchildren Kami Dyal, Kaylyn Bowie (Jonathan), Kaytlin Robinson, Kimberly Morgan

and Kensey Eldridge as well as her 8 great grandchildren Kloee Turner, Maislee Turner, Jacie Bowie, Wrenlee Bowie, Raelynn Scheider, Jordyn Scheider, Jayden King and Jeremiah King.

Sandra will be remembered the most for her unwavering faith as a member of the Road to Calvary Church. Sandra's Christian faith and beliefs were important to her and it radiated in everything she did. Sandra loved traveling with her family, going to the movies with her son and cooking for the ones she loved.

Sandra was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents Jack and Thelma Harvey and Isaac and Loma Davis, her father Wilton Davis, step-father Leon Baggs, sister Linda Diane Rivera, niece Aline Camille Roberts, nephew Leo Holdampf, Jr. and great nephew Nicholas Hall.

A viewing will be held, Tuesday March 12, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Road to Calvary Church, 7394 Madison Street, Glen St Mary, Florida 32040. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Road to Calvary Church followed by a graveside service at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Sanderson, Florida.

Road To Calvary Church will not be having our Wednesday night services..
Our church family will miss Sis Ann Lauramore greatly. We ask for everyone to continue to keep Bro Marvin and their children and family in your prayers..

Gloria Ann Lauramore, known best as Ann, a lifelong Baker County resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Ann was born in Glen St. Mary to the late Mr. Clifford and Gladys (Hines) Starling on March 9, 1940. She was a graduate of Baker County High School. The day after graduation, she married the love of her life, Mr. Marvin Lauramore. Together they spent sixty-five wonderful years and raised three children they were so proud of.

Mrs. Ann was a familiar, smiling face at the Citizen’s Bank of Macclenny for many years, working as a teller and bookkeeper. In their free time, Ann and Marvin enjoyed traveling, and enjoying the beautiful creations of God. In their younger years they loved taking care of their horses and motorcycle rides together. She was a member of Road to Calvary Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Emily Thomas; and a daughter: Mrs. Carol Dugger.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin Lauramore of Macclenny; children: Luke Lauramore and Donna Waldron both of Macclenny; grandchildren: Tracy (Beau) Lamb, Chad (Hannah) Dugger, Forrest Waldron, Britney (D.J.) Long, Sierra Lauramore, and Annabell Lauramore; great-grandchildren: Chloe, Molly, Railey, Matti, and Hudson; and a sister: Sandra Cook of Arkansas.

A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Road to Calvary Church with Pastor Tommy Anderson and Rev. David Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
