I’m a day late !!!

Real love is an intentional choice that shows up in our actions.

"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10

The love we freely receive from God should be just as freely poured out to others around us.

Bethany’s Morning Tea

Our thoughts are important, but our words are powerful.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue..."
Proverbs 18:21

Words are powerful. They can either bring life and blessing or destruction and harm. Proverbs 18:21 is a reminder to us to use our speech responsibly, as our words can have significant consequences for ourselves and others.

Wisdom Shared from Theresa’s Study

“Your destsination is tied to your full surrender.

He delivered me from my strong enemy. Psalms 18:17

That evening Jesus disciples went down to the shore to wait for him. But as darkness fell and Jesus still hadn’t come back, they got into the boat and headed across the lake toward Capernaum. Soon a gale swept down upon them, and the sea grew very rough. They had rowed three or four miles when suddenly they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat. They were terrified, but he called out to them, Don’t be afraid. I am here! Then they were eager to let him in the boat, and immediately they arrived at their destination! John‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬-‭21‬, ‭NLT‬‬

When you really let Jesus into your boat, He takes you to your destination. Why we still struggle sometimes to reach our destination is we look like we’ve made room for Him, act like we’ve given Him the reins, yet somehow make Him a stranger in His own house. We welcome him as LORD, yet show Him His quarters–this is where you’ll be. You’re allowed this far; go no further.

When you make someone the Lord of your Life, you hand over the keys, the entirety—withholding nothing. You allow Him to walk around the hidden, dark, and forbidden corners. The weak habits. You swing wide open secret passages, locked up vaults, and things you struggle with.

Only then can He tear down those hard places, clear up the clogs in the pipes of your house, clean up the house of your life, bind up the strongman that has put you on a leash, and has built itself a stronghold on certain areas of your life for years.

Afterwards, the Lord then builds a proper comfortable dwelling place for Himself to dwell within you. He makes those things filthy to you. Then He prepares you for take off, taking you where you’ve been wanting to go all along, but didn’t know how on your own–your assigned place.

Breakfast with Bethany ♥️

We are never sent into a battle unarmed.
When we are facing challenges we need to remember that we are not alone. When we seek God for strength through prayer and His Word we can embrace the assurance that with faith, we can conquer our battles, both seen and unseen.

"For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me."
Psalm 18:39

We don't have to fight alone!

Morning Tea with Bethany ❤️

Immanuel means God is with us. Many people view God as distant and uninterested, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We celebrate a Savior who turns no one away. He cares for the forgotten, loves the unlovable, and forgives the unforgivable. God loves YOU!

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel,” which means, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23

Tea with Bethany ♥️

"If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14

"Turning" means more than just a mental shift; it's a commitment to change your actions and live a life of obedience. The result of true repentance is a changed life.

Father help me to truly turn from my wicked ways and to live a life that honors You.

Bethany’s Tea 😍

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24

Lord, may my work and all my activities be done with a heart, and a goal of pleasing You Lord.

Amanda’s Corner ♥️

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for the example You set by carrying Your cross all the way to Calvary for me. Your word in Luke 9:23 says, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.” God, I’m picking up my cross today. Help me love the people who are hard to love, pray for the ones who have hurt me, and walk out everything I say I believe instead of just saying it. It’s easy to love the people who love me back, but You’re calling me to so much more than that. Give me the strength today to walk by faith in a way that looks like You, not just in my words but in everything I do. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. -Matthew 5:44
