Random Fact… 🤍

Seven years ago today, we kicked off our very first Women of Verve Retreat.

Since then, God has taken us on an incredible journey:

✨ Verve
✨ Sealed
✨ Flourish
✨ Surrender
✨ What If
✨ Enriched
✨ Lavished
✨ Make Room

Each theme represented a season. A lesson. An invitation to go deeper with Him.

Looking back, it’s amazing to see how God has faithfully woven each year together. He first called us to discover who we are in Him, reminded us that we belong to Him, taught us to grow, surrender, trust, receive His grace, rest in His love, and make room for Him to move in greater ways.

What started as a small gathering of women saying “yes” to God has become a community of women pursuing Christ with vigor, spirit, and passion.

To every woman who has attended a retreat, served behind the scenes, led a breakout, worshiped, prayed, shared a testimony, or invited a friend, thank you. You are part of this story.

As we celebrate seven years since that first retreat began, we’re grateful for every step of the journey and excited for what’s ahead as we prepare for Abide 2027.

Today's song is "You To Be You" by PRKR. and Parker Matthew.

This song hits right at the heart of a struggle so many of us face: comparison. In a world filled with social media, expectations, and the pressure to be more like someone else, this song reminds us of a powerful truth:

God didn't make a mistake when He created you.

One of my favorite themes in the song is the picture of God as a loving Father reminding His children that every part of His creation has a purpose, including us. When we wish we were smarter, prettier, more talented, or more successful, God gently reminds us that He created us intentionally and uniquely.

Psalm 139:14 says:

"I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Today, if you've been caught in the trap of comparison, take a moment to thank God for the way He created you. Your story, your gifts, your personality, and even your journey are part of His design.

🌸 You don't have to be her.
🌸 You don't have to be them.
🌸 You just have to be who God created you to be.

Because the same God who made the songbirds sing and the flowers bloom made you to be you.

99 women. 17 baptisms. And just like that… our 2026 WOV retreat has come to a close.

What a weekend. So many powerful moments, stories of redemption, and glimpses of God’s love on full display. I already know the testimonies that come from this will be incredible.

More pictures are definitely coming… but for now, it’s time to rest.
