At CR Biblical Forgiveness enables us to forgive as God forgave us. God tears down walls our sins have built, and opens the way for a renewed relationship with Him. We release the person who has wronged us from the penalty of being separated from us. By making promises of biblical forgiveness, we tear down the walls that stand between us and our offender and clear the way for our relationship to develop unhindered by memories of past wrongs. In CR we look biblically to guide us in reconciliation as we see how God calls us into a ministry of reconciliation with others. He reconciles the world to himself (2 Cor 5:18) and reconciles us to himself as He makes us a new creation. Now we begin to understand this simple verse and command: Love one another�(John 13:34). It shows us why Jesus calls us to love our neighbor so we might build a healthy and God-honoring connection with others.

CR helps us find direction at the crossroads of should we be bitter or better? As we love our neighbor God helps us to become better. Living humbly before Jesus is the only hope we need to restoring relationships. As we consider making amends, we see it breaking down walls of isolation built up between God, others and ourselves. Making amends is not so much about wallowing in the painful past as it is about taking positive steps for your future.

At CR we rejoice that through Jesus Christ, we're being made more like Him. But all this change is difficult and can become our biggest fear. Controlling tendencies overwhelm as we don't live a life of faith, but instead try achieving something we'll never accomplish on our own. CR is where Christlike molding, shaping and transforming takes place. No matter how broken, we rest in the Hope of what Christ proclaims - that we are more than overcomers!

At CR biblical recovery isn't about behavior modification where once we've completed the year we feel like we've "arrived" or that we're suddenly "fixed." Instead it's about voluntarily submitting to all the changes God wants to make in our life daily and turn and seek Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to work in us.
CR lives by this amazing statement. Countercultural in every aspect and it's found in Mark 8:34-36: Surrender gives us victory

At CR Heb. 12:1-2 is our foundation for transformation. We're ready to live out God's Plan by guiding us in the Truth which will set us free as we get real, ready, and going through difficulties of life everyday connected to see what fruit God will bear in us. CR becomes the way of growing in Grace to remove hurts, hangups and habits. Join us as God’s Glory shines through the darkness of our lives in hope, help, and healing all through Christ alone. CR'S lesson of ready helps us praise God in the midst of the storms of life. This teaches us to abide in Christ so that we might live to see what Fruit He will bear in us,
Even though some of our character defects are hard to give up, at CR we see God always keeping His promises, It's difficult to see how the defects of pride, greed, lying, envy, lust, etc blind us but at CR it's all about turning on the light of Christ so we can see more clearly

At CR we learn how Inventory is an honest assessment of life and that CR - through the Word of God - is used to help us in our self-examination. We balance it (utilizing the bad AND the good) and help direct our thoughts as we “examine our ways and test them.” (Lam 3:40). We then return to the Lord by committing this process to the Him: “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (Phil 2:13) Join us every Wednesday. At CR we take a moral inventory which just means an honest assessment of our condition in life. We pray for God to work by opening up our hearts and help us look into the past. That may bring pain and discomfort but in confronting our past we make corrections in the present moving more precisely towards a future God designed us to live! He wants us to be thinking more about repenting by turning to the Truth and away from the lies of this world. Join us Wednesdays for dinner at 6:30 Meeting at 7

Although looking to the past may bring pain, at CR we see how God wants us going deep (Luke 5:4) by thinking more about the Truth and being radically open and honest with ourselves. It's the only way we experience God's healing. As we get real about how events of the past affected us and continue to influence us, we find hope for our recovery. Join us every Wednesday and grow by moving through the pain instead of going around it or just glossing over it. Dinner at 6:30 meeting at 7
