On Memorial Day, May 25th, the Veterans Service Office and VFW will hold a Memorial Day Service at our Church Cemetery beginning at 10:00 AM. This marks the second consecutive year this special service has been held at our cemetery. In previous years, the community service took place at the Town Cemetery in Glen Flora. The service will last approximately fifteen minutes. We invite you to join us as we honor and remember those who faithfully served our country.

Come worship with us this Pentecost Sunday, May 24th, at 10:30 AM at Glen Flora Lutheran Church. Guest Pastor Tom Reiff will lead us in worship and praise as we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Pentecost, often called the birthday of the Church, marks the close of the Easter season. We invite everyone to wear red as a symbol of the Spirit’s presence among us. Following the service, please stay for fellowship and refreshments. All are welcome in God’s house.

What a wonderful afternoon of fellowship this past Wednesday, May 13th, as the ladies of Glen Flora Lutheran Church welcomed the ladies from Hope Lutheran Church for a Spring Garden Party. The afternoon was filled with games, crafts, music, delicious appetizers and desserts, singing, and plenty of laughter. A special guest speaker shared helpful gardening “Tips and Tricks” and brought along a variety of plants to display. Most importantly, everyone enjoyed meaningful conversation and Christian fellowship together.

Our Wednesday Club Kids blessed us this past Sunday, Mother’s Day, May 10th, with their Annual Spring Musical, “Come Along With Jesus.” Featuring favorite Bible stories and joyful music, the children shared the love of Christ with our congregation. We thank them for all their hard work and dedication!

This photo features our 5th Grade Wednesday Club class on their final Wednesday Club Day. To celebrate the years they have faithfully spent with us each week, we recognized each student and presented them with a special pocket rock inscribed with the words, “I Am A Child Of God.”
We are so thankful for the time we’ve shared watching these young people grow in faith and friendship through Wednesday Club.
