If God can hear Jonah from the belly of a big fish, God can hear you this year—no matter where you are!

For Blessing of the Backpacks Sunday, some of our First Pres kids helped tell the story of Jonah. And we think they did a pretty great job.

As our kids head into a new school year, we hope they remember this: wherever you go, you can always call out to God. God hears you and answers your call.

Sponsorship Sunday
Aug. 16 | 10am

This Sunday we will take time during worship to celebrate the gift of child sponsorship and to pray for sponsored children around the world

If you or your family sponsor a child—through any organization, anywhere—please bring a photo of your sponsored child to worship. We’ll display these pictures and lift each child in prayer together.

If you don’t yet sponsor a child, this is a perfect opportunity to explore how this ministry changes lives. Hope to see you this Sunday!
