Fear makes shallow roots feel sufficient until the storm arrives.
This Sunday, we gather for a special worship service shaped by the message shared at Annual Conference by Bishop LaTrelle Easterling: “Rooted in Christ: Love Boldly.”
In a world increasingly shaped by fear, outrage, division, and exhaustion, scripture calls us toward something deeper than survival or self-protection. Together, we will reflect on what it means to become people rooted deeply enough in the love of Christ to remain courageous, truthful, compassionate, and human even in difficult times.
