This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:13–26! 🍎🍇🍌 Paul reminded the Galatians that when we follow the Holy Spirit, He helps us live more like Jesus by growing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in our hearts.

✨ Brite Idea: The Holy Spirit helps us live like Jesus.

Our 4th & 5th graders tackled some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
🔥 “Is God Okay With Me Getting Angry?” — Students learned that anger is a normal emotion, but God wants to help us respond to it in healthy, wise ways.
📖 “What’s the Evidence That the Bible Is True?” — Preteens explored how we can trust the Bible and why God’s Word stands firm even when we have questions.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• How can we display the fruit of the Spirit like Jesus did?
• Read Hebrews 13:21a — How does God equip us with “everything good”?
• What is one way the Holy Spirit can help you this week at school, at home, or with friends?

We love partnering with you as your kids grow in faith! 💙

ACC Parents—here’s what your kids learned this Sunday 👇

Our Preschool–3rd graders learned about Priscilla and Aquila helping Apollos better understand the message of Jesus. Because of their guidance, Apollos went on to share the Gospel with many others.
👉 Brite Idea: God works through people.

Our 4th–5th graders explored some important questions:
• Is God okay with me getting angry?
• What’s the evidence that the Bible is true?

They learned that anger is a real emotion—but God teaches us how to handle it in healthy ways, and that our faith is grounded in truth we can trust, not just feelings.

Keep the conversation going at home 💬

How would you feel if friends helped you understand the Bible more clearly?
Have you ever gotten into a disagreement with a friend? How did you handle it? What do you think God says about that?
What are some ways we can handle anger in a healthy, God-honoring way?
Let’s keep growing faith at home together 🙌

Our Preschool–3rd graders learned about Paul preaching in Athens. He explained that God made everything and isn’t found in idols—and while some people mocked, others were curious, and some believed.
👉 Brite Idea: God is the one true God.

Our 4th–5th graders tackled real-life questions:
• What should I be looking at online?
• What does Jesus want me to do when my family drives me crazy?

They learned how to set healthy boundaries online and how to respond to others with patience, grace, and love—even at home.

Keep the conversation going at home 💬

Have you learned about Greek mythology in school? Do people worship other gods today? What do you think God says about that?
Why do people worship things other than God?
What are some healthy boundaries we can set for what we watch or look at online?
Let’s keep growing faith at home 🙌

Parents—here’s what your kids learned this Sunday at Arundel Christian Church 👇

Our Preschool–3rd graders heard about when Peter was arrested and how God miraculously rescued him from prison. When he showed up at the house of believers, they were amazed!
👉 Brite Idea: God is powerful.

Our 4th–5th graders explored some big faith questions:
• Where did God come from?
• Do good people go to heaven even if they aren’t Christians?

They learned that while some questions don’t have simple answers, God invites us to seek Him and trust His Word—and that we all need God’s grace, not just “good behavior.”

Keep the conversation going at home 💬

Has anyone ever treated you differently or made fun of you because you follow Jesus? How would that make you feel? What do you think God says about that?
What can we do when we are in a bad situation?
Why do we need God’s grace instead of just trying to be “good”?
Let’s keep growing faith together at home 🙌

ACC Parents—here’s what your kids learned this Sunday at Christian Church 👇

Our Preschool–3rd graders learned about Philip and the Ethiopian man reading Scripture. When Philip shared about Jesus, the man believed and was baptized—showing us that God’s plan is for everyone.
👉 Brite Idea: God seeks us out.

Our 4th–5th graders wrestled with some big, real questions:
• How could a loving God let people go to hell?
• If God is my friend, what does that mean?

They discovered that God loves people deeply and desires to save everyone, and that He is the one friend who never leaves, never changes, and always loves them.

Keep the conversation going at home 💬

Why does God seek people out?
Does following God ever feel hard? Why?
What might frustrate someone about trying to follow God?
How is God different from other friends in your life?
Let’s keep building faith at home, one conversation at a time 🙌

ACC Parents—here’s what your kids learned this Sunday 👇

Our Preschool–3rd graders learned about the early church and how people shared generously—but also heard the serious story of Ananias and Sapphira, who lied about their giving. It was a powerful reminder that honesty matters and God’s way is always best.
👉 Brite Idea: God’s way is best!

Our 4th–5th graders tackled some real-life questions:
• Does God expect me to hang out with “weird” people?
• How important is it to tell people about Jesus?

They learned that every person has value in God’s eyes and that even when it feels awkward, sharing your faith matters.

Keep the conversation going at home 💬

Do you think people in our world lie often? Is that a big deal?
What are some things kids might lie about? What do you think God says about that?
Why is God’s way best?
Who is someone you could show kindness to this week?
Let’s keep growing faith beyond Sunday 🙌

This Sunday in ACC Kids, your children learned about the power of the Holy Spirit and how God brings people together 💛

👶 Preschool–3rd Grade:
Kids explored Pentecost—when the disciples heard a mighty wind, saw tongues of fire, and were filled with the Holy Spirit! They began speaking in different languages so people from all over could hear about Jesus. Peter boldly preached, and about 3,000 people believed and were baptized—the Church had begun!

✨ Brite Idea: The Holy Spirit lives in believers.

🧠 4th–5th Grade:
Our preteens engaged in meaningful, real-world questions through a biblical lens:
• Why did God make different races?
• Who is the Holy Spirit and what does He do?

They learned that God deeply loves all people and created us with beautiful diversity, and they began to understand more about the Holy Spirit—God’s presence in our lives, guiding, helping, and empowering us.

💬 Keep the conversation going at home:
• What would it be like if suddenly you could speak a language you’ve never learned and people from all over the world could understand you?
• What are some ways some people believe we can go to heaven, other than believing in Jesus? Do you think all people will go to heaven? Why or why not?
• How do you think the Holy Spirit helps you in your everyday life?

We love partnering with you as your kids grow in faith, understanding, and love for others 🙌
