This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about Abram and Lot from Genesis 12–15. 🌟🏕️ Kids discovered that God made a special covenant with Abram and promised to bless him. Even when Abram generously let Lot choose the best land first, God remained faithful to His promises. Through it all, kids were reminded that no matter what life looks like, God is always in control and can be trusted.

💡 Brite Idea: God is in control.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
✨ "Do Miracles Happen Today Like They Did in the Bible?" — Preteens discussed how God is still at work today. While miracles may not always look the same as they did in Scripture, God continues to answer prayers, transform lives, and work in powerful ways according to His perfect will.
💙 "Is God With Us Even When We're in the Bathroom?" — Students explored God's constant presence and learned that He is always with us—not because He's watching to catch us doing something wrong, but because He loves us deeply and cares for us wherever we are.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• How should we live knowing God "holds all things together?"
• If God is over everything visible and invisible, what do we have to worry about?
• Can you think of a time when you saw God at work in your life, even if it wasn't a dramatic miracle? How did it help you trust Him more?

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about the Tower of Babel from Genesis 11:1–9. 🏗️🌍 Kids discovered that instead of following God's command to fill the earth, the people chose to make a name for themselves by building a great tower. God lovingly stepped in by confusing their language and scattering them across the earth, reminding us that His plans are always greater than our own.

💡 Brite Idea: No one is greater than God.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
🤔 "Why Is There So Much God Doesn't Tell Us?" — Preteens talked about the fact that while we may not have every answer, God has given us everything we need to know Him, trust Him, and follow Him. They were encouraged that faith means trusting God's wisdom, even when we don't understand everything.
👼 "Do People Become Angels When They Die?" — Students explored what the Bible teaches about angels and discovered that God created angels and people for different purposes. They learned that those who trust in Jesus will one day be with Him forever, but Scripture does not teach that people become angels.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• Is there a way for us to get to God?
• Who is greater than God?
• Is there something you've wondered about God that you don't fully understand? How can trusting Him help even when you don't have all the answers?

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about The Fall from Genesis 3. 🍎📖 Kids discovered that when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, sin entered the world and broke the perfect relationship people had with Him. But even in that moment, God gave hope by promising a Savior who would one day defeat sin forever.

💡 Brite Idea: God is holy, but people sin.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
🤔 "How Do I Know Who to Believe When I Have Questions About God?" — Preteens learned that it's okay to have questions and that God has given us trustworthy places to find answers, including the Bible, faithful Christian leaders, and trusted adults. They were reminded that asking questions can strengthen their faith.
👼 "What Do Angels Do—And Are They Still Doing It?" — Students explored what Scripture teaches about angels and discovered that God uses them to carry out His purposes by delivering His messages, protecting His people, praising Him, and encouraging believers.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• Have you ever heard someone say God was mad at them when something bad happened? What do you think about that? What do you think God says about that?
• Why do people do wrong things?
• When you have a question about God or the Bible, who are some trusted people you can talk to, and why is God's Word the best place to start?

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned from Genesis 1:26–31 and 2:4–25 that we are wonderfully made! 🌿❤️ Kids discovered that God created Adam and Eve in His own image and placed them in the beautiful Garden of Eden. They learned that every person is uniquely created by God, deeply loved by Him, and made to have a relationship with Him.

💡 Brite Idea: God created people in His image.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
💙 "Does Doing Good Things Make God Like Me More?" — Preteens discovered that God's love isn't something we earn through good behavior. Because of Jesus, God loves us unconditionally, and our good works are a response to His love—not a way to earn it.
📖 "Which Rules in the Bible Still Apply Today?" — Students explored how the Bible is more than a book of rules. They learned that God's commands reveal His heart and help us grow in our relationship with Him as we follow Jesus.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• Why did God make people?
• Why are all people special and valuable to God? (Genesis 1:27)
• Since every person is made in God's image, what are some practical ways we can show kindness, respect, and love to others this week?

Thank you for partnering with us as we help kids grow in faith and follow Jesus! 💙

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders explored Psalm 136 and learned about Psalms of Thanksgiving! 🙌 As they looked back on God's faithfulness throughout Israel's history—from creation to His rescue of His people—they discovered that God's goodness never ends and His love never fails. No matter what season we're in, we always have reasons to thank Him!

💡 Brite Idea: God does good things for His people.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
💙 "If Bad Things Happen, Does That Mean God Is Punishing Me?" — Preteens talked about why difficult things happen and were reminded that hardships are not a sign that God has stopped loving them. Instead, they learned that God is always with them, cares deeply for them, and works through every circumstance.
💵 "Why Does God Want Us to Give Money at Church?" — Students discovered that generosity is an act of worship. Giving is one way we trust God, support His work through the church, and help share His love with others.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• Do you think all kids believe God is real? What are some reasons people might not believe God is real?
• Read Revelation 1:8. How long will God's goodness last?
• What is one way you've seen God's goodness this week, and how can you respond with gratitude or generosity?

Thank you for partnering with us as we help kids grow in faith and follow Jesus! 💙

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders explored Psalm 22 and learned about Psalms of Lament. 📖 Kids discovered that God welcomes every emotion we bring to Him—even sadness, frustration, and hurt. Just like David, we can be honest with God about what we're feeling while remembering that He is always faithful to His promises.

💡 Brite Idea: God is good even when we are hurting.

Our 4th & 5th graders wrestled with some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
🤔 "What Happens if I Quit Believing in God?" — Preteens learned that it's normal to have questions and doubts as they grow in their faith. They discovered that God isn't afraid of our questions and that seeking Him through honest conversations and His Word can strengthen our trust in Him.
🌎 "Why Doesn't God Fix Our Country?" — Students talked about the brokenness they see in the world and were reminded that while we may not understand why God allows certain things, He is still sovereign, working through His people, and one day He will make all things new.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• What does the word grief mean? What are some situations that might cause someone to feel grief?
• What can we do when we don't feel like praising God?
• Can you think of a time when God was with you during a hard season? How did He comfort or encourage you?

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders explored Psalm 19 and learned about Psalms of Wisdom! 🌎📖 David celebrated how God reveals Himself through both His amazing creation and His Word. Kids discovered that God's wisdom helps us know Him, search our hearts, and live in ways that please Him.

💡 Brite Idea: God is good.

Our 4th & 5th graders tackled some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
💪 "How Do I Do the Right Thing When Everyone's Doing What's Wrong?" — Preteens talked about the courage it takes to stand for what's right, even when it's difficult. They learned that following Jesus means making wise choices based on God's truth instead of simply following the crowd.
🌟 "What Does the Bible Say About What I'm Supposed to Be When I Grow Up?" — Students explored how God has uniquely gifted each of us. While our future jobs may look different, our greatest calling is the same: to know God, love Him, and use our gifts to serve Him and others.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• What is the difference between fact and fiction? When you watch videos or television, what makes it hard to determine what is true and what is fiction? What do you think God has to say about that?
• How can reading the Bible help us?
• What gifts or talents has God given you, and how can you use them this week to love and serve others?

Thank you for partnering with us as we help kids grow in faith and follow Jesus! 💙

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about the wisdom found in the book of James! 📖 James reminded believers that God loves both the rich and the poor, and that true faith is shown through loving and merciful actions toward others. Kids discovered that God’s love is for everyone and that trusting in Jesus changes the way we live and care for people.

💡 Brite Idea: God helps us love others.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
✨ “If God Forgives, Can I Do Whatever I Want?” — Preteens learned that God’s forgiveness isn’t a free pass to sin. Instead, life with Jesus changes our hearts so we want to follow Him more each day.
⚖️ “Does the Bible Say Some Sins Are Worse Than Others?” — Students wrestled with how sin affects our relationship with God and discovered that all sin matters because God calls us to holiness and grace.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• How can you tell if someone’s faith is real or just words?
• How can we love others like God does?
• What is one practical way you can show kindness, mercy, or compassion to someone this week?

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about Timothy and how God used him to help share the Gospel and lead the church! 📖 Through Paul’s letters in 1 & 2 Timothy, kids discovered that Timothy was encouraged to stay faithful, lead well, and trust God even during difficult times. These letters remind us that everyone has an important role in God’s church.

💡 Brite Idea: God helps us do His work.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a spiritual lens:
✨ “How Did People Who Lived Before Jesus Get to Heaven?” — Preteens talked about God’s plan of salvation throughout history and discovered that God has always been loving, faithful, and just.
🐾 “Do Pets Go to Heaven?” — Students explored what Scripture says (and doesn’t say) about animals in heaven and were reminded that God cares deeply about all of His creation.

Keep the conversation going at home with these follow-up questions:
• On a scale of 1 to 10, how busy would you say your life is? How do we balance serving God, doing all of our things, and resting too?
• What work does God want us to do?
• What are some gifts or talents God has given you that you can use to help others and serve Him?

This Sunday in ACC Kids, our Preschool–3rd graders learned about FAITH from Hebrews 11:1–12:2! ✨ Through stories of faithful people in the Bible, kids discovered that faith means trusting God even when we can’t see the whole picture. Hebrews reminds us that faith is essential to our relationship with God and that salvation comes through faith in Jesus by His grace.

💡 Brite Idea: God helps His people have faith.

Our 4th & 5th graders explored some BIG questions through a biblical lens:
🔬 “Who’s Right: God or Science?” — Preteens talked about how science and faith are not enemies. They explored how God’s creativity and design can actually be seen through scientific discovery and how there is always more to learn about God’s amazing creation.
⚖️ “Why Doesn’t God Make Things Fair for People?” — Students wrestled with the idea of fairness and discovered that God’s love, grace, and wisdom go far beyond what we think is “fair.”

Keep the faith growing at home with these follow-up questions:
• How can we show our faith in God?
• Have you ever heard anyone say that if God was real, He wouldn’t let bad things happen? Why might someone feel that way? How would you answer?
• Can you think of a time when you had to trust God even when you didn’t understand what was happening?
