We have exciting news to share! This Sunday we will welcome Rev. Alli Koehler-Masavisut as Shady Grove's new Minister of Care and Outreach!

Alli is a provisional deacon in The United Methodist Church and comes to us with experience as a hospital chaplain. She brings a deep passion for congregational care, mission, and justice, and we are very excited about the gifts she will share with our church and community!

As church leaders considered how best to support our youth ministry and the broader needs of our congregation, we saw the opportunity to create this new position, while entrusting youth and young adult ministries to our Associate Pastor, Rev. Blaine Oliver-Thomas. Pastor Blaine has already built meaningful relationships in these areas, and this new staff structure will allow him to devote more time to students, families, and young adults in our community.

Please take a moment to read the letter Alli has written introducing herself to our church family, as well as this week's Pastors' Page, which shares more about the way our new clergy team will partner together in ministry - https://bit.ly/4rsI7ep

And join us in officially welcoming Alli to the Shady Grove family on Sunday morning!
