Reminder: our COMMUNITY DINNER is Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 pm. We're serving fried chicken and it's a potluck meal. Bring a dish to share and enjoy foods cooked by someone else. If you can't bring food, come anyway. We'll hear from Randy Shelton from the Richmond Outreach Center after dinner. Everyone welcome. Meal is free.

JEWELRY. We gladly accept donations of cosmetic jewelry. Rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pins and more. Jewelry that you no longer wear could be jewelry that another person would enjoy wearing. Donations can be dropped off on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings or put in one of the collection boxes anytime.

Today it's blistering hot, but cold temps are on their way. The Biltmore Clothes Closet always has a great demand for coats. We stockpile them during the spring and summer, but we never have enough, especially children's coats. We gladly accept donations of new and gently used coats and jackets for all ages as we try to keep everyone warm this winter. Drop off on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday mornings or anytime in the collection bins. Thanks.

A delicious lunch served to our tables. Fresh baked apple cake. And grocery Bingo. Traditional Bingo with prizes from the grocery store. A box of Twinkies. 5 lbs. of potatoes. Ritz crackers. A jar of chunky peanut butter. All enjoyed by friends that we know and some we met for the first time. That was Biltmore's Fellowship with Friends lunch today.

IT'S SEPTEMBER and we're accepting small yard sale items again. Linens, books, games, puzzles, toys, kitchen items, Christmas items. . No furniture or large/heavy items. Volunteers are at the Clothes Closet on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30 am to take donations. And there are two drop off boxes that can be used anytime. Our Fall Yard Sale is Thursday, October 15-17.
