Thirty years ago, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship offered individuals and churches a different way to be Baptist. CBF Church Benefits Board (CBB) exists to serve an emerging and different kind of Baptist community with retirement and insurance solutions that work for everyone.

On Tuesday, we concluded our 14th (!) Financial Wellness Education Experience (FWEE) in Raleigh. Once again, we had another amazing group of ministers and spouses with us. This particular group had a spirit a generosity that was impossible to miss.

We are grateful to each one of these ministry leaders for taking time out of their busy schedules to explore financial wellness with us.

When ministers work on and improve their financial well-being they in turn become better equipped to care for others, make thoughtful decisions, and lead with clarity and confidence. The impact extends far beyond the individual.

There is much more to a compensation package than a salary. Because of the importance of this topic, Church Benefits Board created the Minister’s Compensation Guide. This resource is for both churches and ministers. Our hope is that it will empower the church and the minister to create a mutually beneficial compensation package that empowers both to answer the call of God.
