We’re getting ready for a fun night of food, fellowship, and FALL FUN and we need a few awesome volunteers to make it happen!

Trunk or treat: bring a car+candy! 🍭

Cake walk: bring a cake or two 🧁

Soup contest: bring your favorite soup and show us what you’ve got! 🥣

We had so mucb fun at our Back to School Bash! Lots of laughter, fun, even a little breeze! As we sleep tonight and wake up in full swing of a new school year, may we step through the doors with grateful hearts and trust in God’s plan for the days ahead. May He guide our teachers with wisdom, patience, and grace, and bless our students with courage, kindness, and a desire to learn and grow. May every classroom be filled with love, every challenge strengthen our faith, and every day remind us that God is walking beside us. Here’s to a blessed and beautiful school year! 🙏📚✏️💛

Our Youth Scavenger Hunt was a success…and we learned a few things! 😂

They searched high and low for something that starts with Q, enough hats for the whole team, something colorful, something loud, 25 pennies, and even recreated The Last Supper! We discovered that finding random stuff can be fun!

Most importantly, we talked about how we often spend our lives searching for happiness in all the wrong places. The only thing we never have to keep searching for is true joy in Jesus. He is the only One who can truly fill the empty places in our hearts.

What a fun night filled with laughs, teamwork, and an even better reminder that the greatest treasure we’ll ever find is Christ. ❤️

Join us at Lake Washington First Baptist Church for liftoff on an adventure to the moon and back: June 27, 2026, 1:00-5:00 p.m.; Sunday, June 28, 10:00 a.m., and continuing each week through the summer.

Our first liftoff was aborted due to technical difficulties. We will be zooming out into space on this Saturday.

We had a sneak peak yesterday in Sunday school.

There’s just something special about watching kids run across a field chasing Easter eggs… but knowing they’re also growing up chasing Jesus. 💛

Today was our church egg hunt, and it was full of laughter, sticky candy fingers, and more plastic eggs than we can count. But what matters most is this—our kids aren’t just making memories, they’re being rooted in something bigger.

Raising kids in church isn’t always easy. It’s early mornings, busy schedules, and choosing faith even when life gets hectic. But days like today remind us why it matters. They’re learning who Jesus is, surrounded by people who love them, and building a foundation that will carry them through life.

Grateful for our church family and the joy of raising our kids together in faith. 🐣
