This past Sunday, we joyfully welcomed the newest member of our church family through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. 💙

James Richard Vollmer, son of Catherine and Michael Vollmer, godson of Caroline Veschi and Jake Fitz Vollmer. Special thank you to the Rev. Tim Hodapp for leading this blessed event!

May God bless and guide them throughout their faith journey, and may we, as their church family, continue to surround them with love, prayer, and support. ✝️💧

Do you know someone who likes children and is looking for some extra cash? St. James' Episcopal Church is looking for a nurturing, dependable person to provide child care for parishioners' children ages 0 -3 on Sundays 9:45am-11:45am in the Nursery. Will be responsible for providing age-appropriate and child-centered care while maintaining a safe environment. Must be 18 years old and have completed American Red Cross training (Church can help facilitate training). $50 Stipend provided. Contact Dawn, in Church office, 860-633-8333 or [email protected].

Lyme Art Association is holding a great event named "Paint the Town" this Saturday, August 29th in Old Lyme. Among the artists painting outside will be our own Robin Hammeal-Urban.
