Much of the nation mourns over the assassination of Charlie Kirk yesterday. Last night we prayed for his wife and children as we gathered together for our weekly Community Group. And we continue to rest in this morning's new mercies to get through the day. We prayed for swift capture and justice for his killer.

There is much turmoil in our culture, and especially here on social media. If you're confused, hurt, angered, or broken, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We will happily meet you where you are and open the Bible to give you comfort and clarity. These events are not outside of God's sovereign hand, and He has given us His Word as both a comfort and a sword in these dark times.

Most importantly, acknowledge your own sin, trust in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross who died and paid for them, and believe that He rose again to save you from them and the misery they bring. We want you to have the same hope we have. Please reach out.

Charlie Kirk is not God, but he did believe in the God of the universe. We want you too as well.
