Eutychus — “The Sleepy Survivor”
📍Third-story window in Troas
💬 Hold On | Hopeful and Honest
“I saw your post today…
I know what it’s like to be worn down, to feel like you’re barely holding on. That night in Troas, I sat in a window listening to Paul preach. It had been a long day, and the night grew late. My eyes grew heavy, and before I knew it—I fell. Three stories down.
It should have been the end. But God had other plans. Paul rushed down, embraced me, and said, ‘Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.’ I was raised up, alive, not because I was strong or deserving—but because God is merciful.
You may feel like you’re falling, or even like you’ve already hit the ground. But listen—your story, your ministry isn’t over. The Lord sees you. He can raise up what seems lost. Don’t sit alone on the windowsill of despair. Come into the room of fellowship. Let others and His Word lift you up.
Find a church that believes in the Word and lives by it. They will embrace you like Paul embraced me—because your life is in you, and it’s precious to God. If you are a Pastor or Staff member tired in the work-find an encouraging mentor, refresh your mind and body in Gods Word for the work!
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul…”
