We will not be holding services on Sunday, January 25th due to the winter storm coming.

Please stay home and safe, enjoy some time with your family, spend some time with the Lord, find a message to watch, and we will look forward to seeing you on Wednesday night for Bible study.

This life brings great pain, difficulties, sorrow, loss, and trials. Through these times we experience genuine grief. Jesus himself was known as a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows on the cross. Isa. 53:3-4 I came across. this article which gives a biblical perspective of grief and its place in a believer's life. It is a great read!

To accuse God of doing wrong only adds to our grief, for it deprives us of the hope, joy, contentment, and confidence that may be found in him.

Due to the expected snow in the morning tomorrow, we are cancelling the 9:30 connection class to allow for more time to make it to church for the 10:30 worship service. Our parking areas will be treated, and we are looking forward to a wonderful time worshipping the Lord and looking into Scripture as Pastor Ed continues his series on "The Enemies of Christmas."

FREE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS EVENT hosted at Glasgow Baptist Church in Newark, DE.

The Students of Joyful Sounds Conservatory of Fine Arts will perform the original drama - A Traditional Christmas.

Saturday -- December 13th -- 5pm!!

When two college students are unable to return home for Christmas they find themselves staying with their history professor and his quirky family. This unexpectedly full house becomes the backdrop for a series of awkward family interactions and a celebration of some favorite Christmas traditions, which are especially intriguing to Chris who has never celebrated Christmas before. This show will have you laughing from beginning to end but also features the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of our Saviour - Jesus Christ!
