"i declared that stone prison walls and iron prison bars could not hold ME. I AM free as a bird to the tree. I have declared unto the world that I AM Spirit and yet materialized. The Spirit is made flesh, and the flesh is made Spirit. That is the great Message that the world cannot realize. Truly might Philip have said, 'Show us' that mystery, 'and it sufficeth us.'. It is truly indeed Wonderful! This is the Omnipotence, the Omnipotence of this Love, this Omnipresent Love, this Love that goes far beyond degrees into infinitude. The end you can never vision. It is far beyond the human imagination; therefore, you can tell the world it is out of the mortal's realization.
GOD is walking in the lives and bodies of men and actually materializing them, materializing men and spiritualizing both it and them. That is what I came for, to let you know that when you really know yourselves you are spiritual beings. Spiritual beings that are incorruptible, undefiled, and you cannot face away. It is Wonderful!.

So, I can say and do say continually, that it is the GOD=given quality of GOD's Love and HIS tender mercies towards mankind to reflect the reality of what is within to be brought into expression on the material plane among men. The time cometh and now is that humanity will not have an occasion for suffering, wants or limitation, for as I AM, so can you be, as GOD is no respecter of persons, neither has any respect unto persons. It is Wonderful! It is Wonderful! The time is ripe, and it is written that, 'In the day of my power, my people shall be willing.' And it is just marvelous to see how willing the people are. They are just seeking for this Truth. They are willing and they are ready to take up their cross and follow CHRIST. It is Wonderful." --- FATHER DIVINE ---

"I AM rejoicing with joy unspeakable, peace and quiet, and joy beyond degrees, to know that each one of you, came through by the shedding of the blood; first, the righteous blood of Abel and all of the other righteous blood that was shed in life, or life that was shed in blood in righteousness from the time of Abel up until tis present time. It was the life of GOD in that blood that was sacrificed, being counted as their pledge and HIS individual pledge of the blood of all of them that wee sacrificed as required of this generation, and it stands atoned and as a sample and as an example and we must be willing to stand and withstand.".
I heard the last speaker say, YOU are the Good Shepherd. An hireling would have run away long ago and been absolutely free, but a good shepherd gives his life for the sheep and sets the prisoners free. If there would be any prison terms, so to speak, the guarantee of MY Name stands to free you. But MY Spirit frees ME, GOD is a Spirit and is absolutely free, but HE has taken upon HIMSELF your infirmities and therefore, sets the prisoners free; and being a fellow prisoner, Paul says on several occasions, those that were fellow prisoners were set free. So, he rejoiced and was exceeding glad. He that the son sets free is free indeed."

You must be born out of the mortal version of things and out of the mortal tendencies and out of the mortal inclinations and out of the mortal characteristics and be birthed out into the light of GOD, be birthed so that you can be free from the infirmities and the curse of such that has been imputed upon mortality.. Rebellious against GOD. So you had better be watchful that you cast out those thoughts or every mortal version or every mortal tendency by casting it out of your system through casting it out of your consciousness, all of the characteristics of mortality that tend in any way to seek anything to refute the Truth."----- FATHER DIVINE

"But I came that you might be changed from nature to grace, and from the flesh to the Spirit, and free you from the law of sin and death.' For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will make you free from the law of sin and death. That is what it will do. It is Wonderful! I came bringing that law, the Law of the Spirit of Life in CHRIST JESUS, for he that the Son sets free is free indeed. So, they don't care anything about folks going around and talking about you are GOD, because if you are GOD and then staying in the flesh, they know that they have you bound by the law. He that is under the law is under the curse. You see the mortal mind knows within itself that this Truth will set you free if you get out of the flesh. 'For if you live after the flesh, you shall die; but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are
led by the Spirit of GOD, they are the sons of GOD.'

Realize the great significance of your self-denial as was aforesaid, 'If you hear any man inquiring after me, tell him I said, first deny himself.' The most important essential, the first step, is for a man to deny himself and take up his cross and follow ME. Then if that be true, are you willing to follow? It is Wonderful! It is Wonderful! It is Wonderful! So then, if you are willing to follow, we will sing it, and I want you to sing it just like you mean it. "If FATHER LEANDS ME, i WILL FOLLOW, i WILL GO WITH HIM ALL THE WAY."
This talk was given before a large audience in Peace Memorial Church, New York City, and was followed by fifteen minutes of singing of the song mentioned, accompanied by a great demonstration of the Spirit." -FATHER DIVINE
