We are very excited to welcome our 2026 Parish Mission speaker this August at Sacred Heart Parish and St. Athanasius Parish.

Please help us begin spreading the word, like and share this post so more people throughout our communities have a chance to see it!

There is much more to come in the weeks ahead as we continue preparing for what we hope will be a very special and grace-filled event for our parish communities.

Prayer for Memorial Day

God of mercy, you give life to all and you do not abandon your works.

On this Memorial Day, we call to mind the faithful departed,
especially those who gave their lives for freedom and for the common good.
May they rest in your peace, and may the light of Christ shine upon them.

Remember also, O Lord, all who have died. Victims of war, violence, and every form of suffering and grant them the eternal rest they long for.

Let the memory of our loved ones renew in us the daily commitment to faith,
and make us vigilant in hope as we wait for your Son to come again.

Father, console those who grieve;
bind up hearts that are wounded;
turn our hearts toward justice and mercy;
and lead the world to true peace.

We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
