You sit still and trust the engineer.

Colossians 3:1–4. Every Christian can fight sin or grow in Sanctification by understanding who we are in Christ.
We are united to Christ in four ways: In his resurrection, his death, his enthronement, and his second coming.

Colossians 3:1–4
"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."

What does faithfulness actually look like in gospel mission — and how do you keep going when results are nowhere to be seen? In this sermon from Matthew 10:11–15, Pastor Marty Beamer concludes a three-week series on the sending of the twelve with a clarifying call: God is in charge of the results; we are in charge of being faithful.
Drawing on the story of Moses — whose early mission looked like failure yet was never out of God's hands — Pastor Marty shows how Jesus equips His disciples not with a success strategy, but with a posture of faithful perseverance. The church does not advance the gospel through performance metrics and headcounts, but through obedience, wisdom, and trust.

As Jesus instructs His disciples on who to invest in and how to respond when rejected, He gives His people two final principles for joyful gospel advancement: use wisdom to discern where to invest, and press on in the mission regardless of how people respond.
In this sermon, you'll discover:

Why faithfulness — not fruitfulness — is the true measure of gospel mission
What it means to be "worthy" and how receptivity shapes where we invest
Why Jesus tells His disciples to shake the dust from their feet — and what that means for us
How the judgment of S***m and Gomorrah illuminates the weight of rejecting the gospel
Why the people's response to the gospel is never ultimately your responsibility
How to stay on mission when ministry feels discouraging, fruitless, or unclear

One of the challenges of youth is that eternity can feel distant.

When life feels strong, healthy, and full of possibility, it is easy to focus only on the present moment. Ecclesiastes acknowledges this reality while also reminding us that God has placed eternity in our hearts.

This sermon clip from Brady Owens explores the tension between enjoying the gifts God gives us today while longing for the future hope that is still to come.

Changing another diaper 5 minutes later 😅

And then suddenly
a smile
a laugh
a tiny hand reaching up

Even ordinary moments can become gifts from God.

Something really is broken in this world.

Ecclesiastes acknowledges the frustration, repetition, and emptiness people feel in life.

But Scripture says do not despair.
What we see is not all there is.

Full and final salvation is coming.

Everyone feels it.

Time moves too fast. Death is unavoidable. Most people fear being forgotten.

Ecclesiastes calls this reality “hevel” which describes the fleeting and v***r like nature of life under the sun.

This sermon clip from Brady Owens confronts the universal struggle every person faces, believer and unbeliever alike. Ignoring God does not remove the reality of mortality or the questions that come with it.

How should we live knowing life is brief?
